    is yours standard? a cooper s gave me no trouble at all the fastest cougar is 8.1 sec 0-60 (2.5 v6) cooper s is 165 bhp cooper s works is 200 ish and cooper s works + is 210 iirc a stock cooper s is slower than a stock vr but itl be close

    thats realistic im at the upper end of them figures with 215 ish bhp u can get great mpg from a vr i once got 44 breifly and 42 over 50 miles once BUT it drops like a brick if u give it some hehe

    santa pod disregard reaction time and 98 IS high foir a stock vr my best is 95 with 153 whp (iv got 178 now but havnt been the pod)

    it was to find the best handling car and he was right stock vr suspension is a joke Yeah, it was only the standard suspension that let it down. it means the vr is underated and a welll kept secret which is fine by me

    85-95 mph terminal as a MASSIVE diffrence lol i think my best terminal is 95 (153 whp then) yeh maybe 15.6 for a stock vr is a bit hopefull but 16 should be doable easy enough

    you sure its black not white? iv never heard of black smoke on overun mines chuckin white smoke out very rarely on over run my engines mint had stem seals done its the oil pump causin it its breathing heavy and puttin oil through the tb and inlet mani

    if its deffo 1 gear only then its very weird could be load related possibly a plug or lead braking down under a certain amount of load
