  1. i think the ecu will be running in safe mode ie dog slow but im no expert and maybe wrong
  2. £2500 all in omfg will the gearbox/tranny live with the torque? (im gfuessing 310-340 lb ft)
  3. i think jas meant we know more about 12v than 24v as we all own 12v ANYTHING with any vr6 is welcome includin the merc that had 1 oh and the veyron and w8 passat as theyr derived from a vr il take a shot in the dark and say clean the throttle body also could be leads or plugs

    that seems pretty accurate to me apart from the terminal speed which maybe a touch high id expect closer to 92 for a 15.3 i dont think iv ever cracked 95 mph even on my 14.7 run at santa pod

  8. i think he means bore it to 2.9-3.0 then stroke it to 3.1 i may be wrong though

  13. peak torque on mine is 4500 (thats pretty much stock i think) it should tail off gracefully not drop like a brick
  14. peak bhp should be over 6k rpm do you have a pic of the torque graph (NOT bhp)
  15. no iirc he converted from obd1 to obd2 that included the obd2 tb and inlet mani (which is 2.8)

  17. yes they open up pretty much straight after the tb whereas 2.8 r t shaped trn it over and ul see what we mean i assume it flows more air better high up the rev range with a possible slight reduction in torque at low revs (countered by the extra cc on 2.9)
