i found out it was actually the ABS controller that wasn't working in the end they had to remove it and get it checked and then replaced still cost £380 for it though so quite an expensive M.O.T.!!!

is this happening if so i should be in sounds cool!!

can i get the software(for free if poss) and a lead, is there lots of different versions and leads as my vr is a 96 P plate highline if that helps for the software?

do you know the opening hours so i can maybe give them a call tonight to see!!

I've put my vr in for an MOT and the ABS light was on the garage have run a diagnostic on it(£40 just to plug a pc in but that's a different matter) and it is coming up saying "signal outside of tolerances" from my ABS pump they have checked the connections and they are in mint condition but they are not sure what it is as not an official vw garage but they think that the pump needs to be replaced at a cost of approx.£500. Can anyone shed any light on this or tell me somewhere to source a new/used pump at a minimum cost? cheers in advance

yer put me down if there is any room left missed last year's due to work but enjoyed it the year before!!

replaced the pump and it is still the same any other ideas please?

are the chilton's manuals any good as there are a couple on e-bay at present? how do i know the pdf format is the bentley manual?

where would i get one of those and what exactly is that also how much?

do they do a haynes manual for the golf vr6 or is it just for use up to the gti's

i can only put my fans on at speed 4 the other 3 speeds do not work so air con won't work (i know it's winter but better to sort it now!!) can anyone shed any loght on this?
