    Hiya- My baby golf has picked up points! Not by ME I hasten to add.... but does anyone know the legality of this- maybe someone has experianced this. OH and I in my Golf, lights went amber but OH drove through as you do when you won't make the stop. Got pulled by police woman who was at left hand side of the juction. He got 3 points and £60 for running a red. It wasn't red! Her deduction for this was becasue a car on the other side coming the otherway form us had in fact stopped as we went through. She could NOT see our traffic light form where she was. She was on her own in the car- no came

    Furthur to my wet feet thread of passager leak in footwell, I have found the hole! But don't have a clue WHAT it is- any ideas> In the footwell on the far back panel opposite the passanger chair, In top right hand corner before bottom of dash starts, there is a cut hole with a pipe running through. This pipe comes from the inside going to the outside engine space. When I press that pipe, or the seal around it, water comes out. Please don?t let that be anything to do with the heater matrix. !amazed Xwet fairyX

    Than you for the reply- Oh no I was acting on Corrado/jetta forum advice and was just beginning to think maybe this aint gonna be expensive... It is curious because water and oil temps all fine ( 90 and 90-100) and coolant level just above max! It hasn't rained all weekend so it can't be a rain or car wash leak. But mat was pretty sodden on about 50% of it -dried up now and no sign of more so far. I guess i have the first in-door VR6 swimming pool. xcx

    I've had it suggested that the "scuttles" may be blocked? And that if it was heater matrix windows would steam up. WEhat do you think? Whats a scuttle Also the sunroof channel may be blocked? Surely it would have had to rain for that to be a problem?     Coolant is fine- we thought if it was heater matrix there would be indication in water or oil temp or coolant levels- but all fine ( water 90, oil 90-100) Hasn't rained all weeknd , no car washing, no empty drink bottles in footwell It's dried up now- going to keep a good eye- maybe just was freak occcurance....?

    Yikes! Anyone know what could be the cause of a BIG wet puddle in the passanger foot well? Had air con on all day, but I thought that was on gas? Or could it be heater matrix??? Please has anyone else found this before? A very upset fairy

    I still have the ugly exhaust poking out of the back of my car and would really appreciate any suggestions as to which back box I could put on- I can't really afford the expense or insurance of putting full system all through- and I have no clue about exhausts Has anyone put one on or know of an idiots guide? xcx

    The stand entrance the letter says use is the Competitor/Paddock entrance which is after the main entrance- there is a layby on the right hand side of the road between the two entrances that we could all meet in? Ohh-can't wait!! xcx

    Have the day off tomorrow to spend queality time with some a jet wash and some polish So on Sat- do you have a board, tent, flag, sign that I can find stand - or just hunt for 3 lonely VR6's in a row ?! It's supposed to be hot on Saturday ! See you all there! xcx

    First day of being insured on Mitsubishi GTO- Pulled out S-L-O-W-L-Y into main street.     Do you know The Hungry Horse pub/restaurant? The petrol station opposite it now has a jet wash AND rollers. Its on Rowden Hill on the way into central Chippenham. Coming from Sainsburys' date=' over the roundabout with the Pheasant pub, and its just under the railway bridge. It is fairly new, they only used to have rollers. [ Edited Wed Jul 14 2004, 10:34AM ']
