    Thought was about time I updated this finally got back to Stealth last week to finish mapping but only got a few runs as the alignment needed adjusting then the day got way too hot up to 28 degrees outside Pulled a decent 409hp and already see the torque its better lower down and comes in a lot sooner With just 2800 miles on the new block should get better with more miles and hope to run it again on a cooler day Next up a trip to Santa Pod now I can go full throttle here is a video on RR of the first few runs http://s82.photobucket.com/albums/j272/b5vwc/Charged%20Corrado/?action=view&curr

    cool let me know and will try and get over; same here wont find many rotrex setups they deliver good power and you can use all of it in any gear

    i have made a few tweaks on the engine, reclamped all hoses & feeds to lose any boost leaks, changed dump valve setup, redone exhaust system then replaced filter, belt & tensioner so should hopefully get some power runs before end of month will let you know

    no mapping yet been busy dealing with tired suspension/drivetrain so ive done a few things since.. now this has been done should feel alot smoother putting down power, all the bushes had never been changed and my 8 year old koni coilovers were proper seized

    not decided on when i will get it dyno'd yet as the matrix is a big job sits behind dash so will take a day for me to sort the heater matrix & bushes are just one of those that will go eventually after 14 years / 125k the engine side of things is fine should be able to trace boost leak and cant test its okay on the road using my gauge

    Well it was okay until the Matrix popped so had to leave it, also quite a bit of front engine mount movement so could be the cross member bushes need to get both sorted - sounded mental tho :-) Managed just 15psi so could be some boost leak will check all the pipework plus the map/timing was all set to safe so wont know now till i get it back on again and finish it properly

    All depends on the rest of your setup mate The Rotrex Kit/Pulley was supplied by Storm who said it was good for around 350hp

    Engines good closing in on 2000 miles will be there by Saturday and the Dyno next week to get results - im going to run it on the same pully first to see what the old bottom end was giving up Its all running well no major issues' date=' cold start is a bit rich for first 10-15secs but that can be tweaked, idles nicely and accelerates well in all gears can feel the power it wants to give but just fustrating that I cant open it up yet holding at 3.5k rpm Thought I would add some pics of the car for a change - cleaned it properly for first time in 2 years...     nothing much yet im at 1600 miles - its getting some paint treatment this week then will get it to 2000 miles then dyno on sep 16th should look alot better than this soon

    13mm or 1/2" 12pt socket to remove/fit when fitting best to use a buzzer type torque wrench than click one so you dont put as much impact on them and use arp assembly grease

    yeah was thinking about it if mine was a daily i might notice the improvements mines not been bad at all ive racked up 800 miles over past 10 days and it hasnt stalled once and idles well and drives like factory off boost for now ...

    think its 1.8t sensor will find out part number obd1 code is harder as there arent as many options to tap into got the pully the other day so could be on by 1st september will let you know how it goes thanks

    mapping wasnt straightforward remember obd1 ecu so theres alot of trial & error to get it right it can take around 6-8 hours from scratch but theres road testing etc involved so may need more time to nail it in the end found an enlarged 105mm housing along with a tt maf sensor was best

    MOT'd today and passed so now time to rack up 1000miles limited to 4k rpm

    Update… Cars been running on 5 and a bit cylinders despite pulling 430hp on the rollers So after 14 years and 125k so it was time to get the bottom end rebuilt. Pulled out the bottom end – painted it up then got it rebored to 2897cc. Went for Wossner Forged Pistons with H-Beam Con Rods At the same time added Cromoly 9lb Flywheel and Helix Clutch as the standard ones were pretty worn from the power. Sorted a few other bits like new Water Pump & Oil Pump plus CrazyDaves Spal Brackets and new Radiator. Spent the last week building it back up and now its up and running – did have
