    thats what im going to have to do ;( they let me drive off home you should of seen the cops face when he looked under the hood he thought it was a bit quick for 16V , he recons im going to get a 3 month ban and a four fig fine oops there gos the money i was saving for a turbo kit

    does anyone know about the emerald, im thinking about putting it in my mk2 vr, i have a uni chip at the mo but i have been told if i use the emerald i can lose the dizzy, and have a coil pack put on , any one know? http://www.emeraldm3d.com/em_m3dk.html

    i dont have an airbox i have a bmc, would this be the reason for the fault or do i still have a carbon cannister?

    i just had my vr pluged into vag com anf two fault codes came up : 01247 Carbon Canister System Solenoid Valve No. 1 00533 idle regulation adaptation any one know what needs to be done to sort this out ? :! cheers

    where can i get the connection lead from? and how do i know what vag com to download interface type?

    where is the hall sender? i pulled out the dizzy out it looked asif its on the inside nr the roter arm? is that it and how much and how easy is it to replace it? Cheers :!

    in my mk2 vr im using a mk3 vr rad with a mk2 gti single fan works fine and never gos above 95 sitting in traffic

    will mk4 calipers and pads fit on ok, and would vr6 disks still be ok with them?

    on mine the corrado rad connection was the the same as the mk3 one, the fan being on constant sounds like you might have wired direct to the live rather than through the stat, or the stat is knackerd?

    when i was on the moterway this morning i noticed how quick my car started to slow down if i took my foot off the gas, almost like i was pressing the brake! any know why this could be? and nope i didnt have the handbrake on!

    does it do it when the car is running but not moving? mine was making a wurring noise it turned out to be a snaped chain runner, the engine sounded really rough

    you could of steped in some when filling up your car last?? i did that but it was diesel and nearly went into the back of a lorry when my foot sliped off the the clutch!

    i have just taken off the dizzy and cleaned what i think is the hall sender?? car running better going to take it out for a good run hope this has sorted it ,,

    i have cleaned all pipes the TB and the ISV twice! my vr is still jumping around, it drives fine but when i come up to a junction and stop for a min the car sort of starts reving badley and its really jumpy when i go to pull away, dosent happen all he time any ideas the problem is doing my head in!! Cheers
