  2. Surley guys, that modification has turned one of the most drivable sports cars of all time into a complete bag of shite! Imagine trying to feather the throttle around a nice sweeping bend?!! Lag, lag, lag, wooosh, boost, coving!!! hehehe

  7. Oooo mate. You know what I'd do? Get down to a reputable body shop and get them to buff it out, if you ask nicely they may even do it for nothing! Surley it's even worth a tenner no?

  9. dont u mean you asked to go on the phat dubs stand, along with those few others? !lol Actually Justin I seem to recall, you begging for a real car on the stand! I'll show you polishing before the year's out!! !lol ah yes it's all coming back to me now! judging by your avatar you could be right about the polishing! Not a chance mate. I'm a million miles off yet!! Can't wait to sse the new rims. I spent all weekend polishing mine with the old mop, nearly like glass
  10. OBD2 has a larger throttle body anyway. Been told by Stealth that an OBD2 with a 2.9 rebore has alot more low down torque than a 2.9 corrado. Apparently VW screwed around with the inlet on the Rado to make the HPa higher rpm. Not as good a combination so I've heard. But obviously slightly more powerful due to the increase in capacity none the less.
  11. Nice one fella. Like the girth!!
  12. dont u mean you asked to go on the phat dubs stand, along with those few others? !lol Actually Justin I seem to recall, you begging for a real car on the stand! I'll show you polishing before the year's out!! !lol
  13. Daily driver for me too. But I use the company van if I really need to and I use the excuse that the car needs to be claen if I have to see a client
  14. Me, weather permiting!
  15. Oh, look what I started! Egay is full of dodgy shite, I'd never buy anything substantial off there. Deffo seems to be some dodgy VRs (or owners!) out there. Interesting...
  16. Sorry Claire, been asked to deffect to the Phat Dubs stand
  17. Hey my car was apparently manufactured on the 31st December 1997 who would build a car on new years eve?!!!
  18. I did consider going back down the carrageway and doing a 'Low level fly past' like in Top Gun but my tea was calling!
  19. Quality my friends, absolute quality!! Shot down in flames springs to mind!
  20. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4623730641&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:UK:1#ebayphotohosting I asked the question to him and he has replied below it on the advert. He genuinely believes it is a Highline and quite obviously cannot read as the brochure he is pointing me to clarifies what I have said!
  21. Had my first real play with a car since the engine rebuild this evening. On the way home from work on the ring road around Leeds, I spot a slightly doggy grey M3 coupe with the guys hand right on the top of the wheel, you know, totally the wrong driving position and he can just see over the wheel. He sees me pootle past and the next thing, flicks out behind me close enough to lick my number plate. Off a roundabout and he's on my inside quarter trying his best to squeese by on a piece of road that will only fit two cars on it and he's thinking he'll push me into the car on the near side, typica
  22. Jesus mate. You're gonna need some hefty arch work. Either that or just weld your shocks so they don't move!! Looks wicked
  23. Check it out fella: http://www.eurotek-online.com/content/newitems.php?sortby=PART_NO
  24. I would say that the warranty lies with the engineer who finished the engine for you? Have a word with them and tell them your position mate. If you don't ask, you don't get! P.S 3 grand on a VR engine rebuild seems quite expensive, what exactly have you had done?
