    I've nudged 160mph (the fastest I've ever been) on the back (pinion) of a Fireblade, and I SHIT my pants. I know there are a few in Plymouth on here and those that are, will know the Parkway from Marshmills down to the Tamar Bridge, we hit 160 on the stretch from Crownhill past the turning off to Devonport. Then got to the roundabout by the bridge turned round and he fucker did it again, that time I didn't have the bottle to take my head out from behind him because of the buffeting from the wind!!!     OK everyone some details for you: On the day (Sunday 26th June) how does everyone fancy meeting at a pub called 'The Old Peacock'? it's right opposite Elland Road (Leeds United Football Club) you can't miss it. it's the only landmark everyone should be able to find easily, it is well sign posted and it has a nice big carpark. Please be there for 8-8.30am, we WILL have to leave at about 9ish as we need to get everyone up on to the stand for before 10am. We can then go in convoy (through a nice bit tunnel!!) to Harewood. I know some people may be suffering from a hang over from the night before

    I would have thought that as well Justin. Would there be any point putting any 2.9 bits on a 2.8 as the capacity is smaller and physically its never gonna feed all the enlarged bits surley? I'm no engineer but would I be talking shite?!! hehehe

    You wont be able to update it untill tomorrow mate. It takes 24 hours to register the serial number then you will be able to update it. It will still work but will not pick up any new cameras from when it was manufactured. I'm a bit unsure as to if I shouldn't have gone for the new snooper thats £425 in Halfords, that picks up all the radars. %-6

    Mine is the new one with the lazer detector and it loves going off when I'm by schools! And yes I got it from Halfords with 6 months interest free credit and a lovely free AutoGlym bag worth 40 notes!! Just a bit concerned about the whole Mobile camera thing. I arrived in Plymouth at 10.30am on Friday and spotted the camera on the bend just before you turn off the A38 to Marsh Mills roundabout and I think I spotted it too late, Arse!!!!     I'm a bit confused as to how it works with mobile gatsos as from what I uderstand its not a detector for radar (only lazer). The blackspot database stores all the known camera sites on it and the GPS on the RoadAngel knows your position in relationship to the cameras. So how the hell is it going to pick up a mobile gatso camera in a new location? Or a mobile camera at all? Something I didn't think about when I bought it. Please advise....

    After a 5 hour drive from Leeds to Plymouth on the bank holiday, just before I get into Plymouth, I'm sure I was clocked doing 80-84mph in a 70mph on the A38 by a chuffin van. Now I was also in the process of being caught up and overtaken by a Boxster, i'm not sure if the van got me first then the Boxster, got me as I was in view first, or if he just got the Boxster. Whatever the case may be I've either got 3 points or I haven't but I suspect its highly lightly.     OK guys i'm interested in organising and monthly meet for the northern members. There doesn't seem to be many but if I can organise a meet for people (John I suppose you can bring your hybrid beast! hehe) it may bring some people out of the woodwork. Suggestions for a place for us to meet greatly appreciated. (Not a Halfords carpark!!)

    I spent £150 on some lovely Focal componants last week with matching tweets and bloody hell!! What a difference, they sound amazing and compliment my Alpine head unit beautifully. I'm not one for megga sounds any more really, went through the whole Alpine V12 and mono amp stuff when I was 19. I'm trying to build my VR really nicely with no bodging and holes cut in places and split plastic. These just fitted in the rear cards perfectly along with the active crossovers and I carefully cut out the middle of the existing tweeter brackets and placed the Focal ones with the little logos in.     Ok, the Cossi wasn't mine but I was in it when a friend lost control racing a Lotus Esprit Turbo, needles to say we where behind it and it hurt a bit when we hit the fence!! The engine ended up in a Westfield. Series 1 was my 2nd car and only had a stainless, chip, filter and the obligatory dump valve. It was a mint motor and only had 65k on the clock when I bought it.
