    my vr6 just does not handle very well, more like a wallowing hippo. both rear axle bushes have just been changed that made a big difference. i have a recent new set of shocks and springs from venom but it just not handle anywhere near my last mk3 did. would strut braces make much difference.

    i know they now need replacing but can i get them any cheaper than fom volkswagen. its a 1992 vr6 if that makes much difference.

    Can anyone help i am after a abs wiring diagram for an 92 j golf vr6 as my abs light has no power going to it. everthing else now works so i require the diagram for fault dianosis for what colour wires come from its ecu and where it earths to etc.

    The buld does work ive had it tested as well as the continuity between the wiring for the buld and the abs system.

    No its not coming on at all.

    I have just had new front flexis hoses and a rear compensator fitted and the brakes have been bleeded. Also found that the front drivers side sensor has gone so about to replace that. While bleeding the brakes the mechanic said he had great difficulty in bleeding the rear left brake and so now it locks up but the others a still fine. But the main thing is to get the abs bulbto work as it has just failed its mot on that problem only.

    I have a J 92 vr6 golf. brakes themselves passed the mot last week but the abs light does not come on and the abs itself does not work either. the bulb is ok and there is continuity between all the sensors and to the bulb. A mate tried to read the ecu with his computer but got no response at all so that problem needs fixing too.

    I just brought a new sensor on saturday from german and swedish cost £32 something.
