    Replaced both front suspension arms Replaced osr handbrake cable replace both front tyres removed and replaced with new drive shafts both front cv boots all wheel bearings four new X drilled disks + pads all round all new abs rotor-re's 2 new rear calipers Four new AP Coilovers Happy Christmas to my beloved VR6 Highline !!

    There was no compensater valve , I chopped the bolts off attaching the bottom of the old shocker and replaced with new !

    Hello All, Am having my coilovers fitted tommorow and my friend who is helpig sait ddoes the golf vr6 aaa highline 96 have a load compensator valve? I have no clue Any help greatly appreciated JT

    Good Evening All, Since I bought my beloved highline in 1998, a couple of my friends commented on how slack and wavy the gear change was ! After a new engine last year I have had continual problem with being unable to get reverse etc !!! This morning after fitting a paltic part numbered 1J0711256 the gear change is fab , tight and feels brand new !!! needed to let you all know Best Wishes JT

    My beloved VR6 Golf after being completly re built has been sat in a garage in Leeds for foyr day waiting for vw to get part number 49 1J0711256 , aperently it is the bit that joins the gearlinkage to the gearbox ? 3 failed delivery slots and now they say it is on back order till march 2011 ! Would anybody have the part or any fantastic ideas ? In anticipation JT

    they are only 15mm though , richie vr says you need 20 mm for porsche wheels ? jt

    A Big shout out tp Richie VR for all his help !!!! Greatley appreciated !!! Big panics at the beginning of the week..... on mot day water pump went frying the rubber belt to all the cogs !!! Handbrake Cables ,both Rear Calipers etc £500 worh of work and lots of stress but she lives !!!! Hope to meet everyone as soon as I can All the best JT

    Hi All, Iafter having a new engine fitted in the VR,my air conditioning worked then stopped,there seems to be a wire that is spare in the engine bay. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the golf vr6 highline AAA available??? Thankyou very much JT

    Finally back on the road !! A massive thankyou to all !!! and especially Richie VR !! New Engine , Gearbox Clutch etc etc , thought I would run out of cash lol, now ..suspension new paint then to start tuning !!! JT
