    Hello, does anybody know what a VR6 engine coding is? I have a 1996 vr6 Highline and am looking at an engine , it has a code of AAA What does this mean???????? Sorry to sound thick

    does anybody know if you can put a v6 24 valve engine in a mark 3 vr6? if so how much hassle is it?

    Guys, Been stuck on the side of the road this morning till AA arrived, lucky lloyds bank give me the top coverage. Taken it to garage AA man says problem with timing chain, I turned the engine off as soon as the noise started and luckily was only crawling. Has anybody else had this problem before ? I had a new tensioner put on abour 4 years ago. the engine has now done 130000, my question is: A. what may need replacing? any cost ideas ? and B. how much hassle would putting a 24 valve v6 engine in? Thanks All

    some tw*t has smashed my wing mirror. there are a few on ebay, but I think highline vr6 maybe heated etc. Does anybody know the best place to obtain apart from maindealers (obvious) Cheers all JT

    Guys, have just had disks pads bearings etc etc done on all four wheels, does anybody have any suggestions on the best tyre /make and spec for grip and handling. The wheels are the standard bbs

    Guys, Looking to upgrade/replace front foglights, have got a leek. have seen uprated lights on american website but was wondering if anybody in uk does a similar product? cheers

    apparently on the back two wheels there are two cages, that are ABS sensors ???

    I have short shift in my highline and it has still got wooded knob.

    my hands are cut to bits and my patience has now worn out, but after starting on saturday morning, I have finally finished my install. 1 x J L Slash Series 300/4 Amp 1 x J L Slash Series 250/1 Amp 1x Cap 4 X Focal K2 comnponents 1x Subwoofer JL Audio 10" W6 v2 Sold touch screen dvd payer as (street level graphics are coming from japan at end of year) will post picture at end. the worst bit of the install was making the tweeters fit, melt cut and push.

    Just been down to vw dealers and after buying a few bite, was informed that mark 1 golf are being manufactured in mexico again, anybody heard of this before?
