    my mate says his coolant temp is sitting at 70 instead of 90 all the time any ideas? he says coolant is a bit low but you'd think that the temp would be higher if that was the case? cheers

    i'm not going on holiday this year so i can afford to sweeten the beast right up!! so far: powerflow cat back twin oval tail pipe corrado throttle body induction kit with cold air feed vsr inlet manifold crankcase breather filter 30mm eibach springs 17"" vw alloys hella quad headlamps to do: full respray koni shocks or coilovers new timing chains/tensioners new clutch 268 cams fit control box to get the vsr working finnish air-con retro fit

    i'm having my car resprayed soon and i can't decide whether to get my hella quad surrounds painted to match the bodywork :S if the car was a late spec vr with colour coded bumpers etc then yes i suppose but as mines obd1 then keep em black to match the 2 tone black/red vibe. most of my mates reckon keep em black as it looks like an angry beast (6) but what do you guys reckon.oh i don't wanna get the bumper tops and side strips colour coded as i like having the vr6 badges on the sides. cheers

    a simple way to preserve your engine is don't take it over 3000rpm until oil temp is at least 70 degrees.

    who would re-solder the joints,the dealer or a specialist electronics whizz kid? my clock/mfa used to do this now and again,now it's all the bloody time! very annoying!

    bad earth,check battery terminals and main earth block (near throttle body) are tight/not corroded.might not be this but it's worth checking

    what bulbs should i put in my hella quads?was thinking phillips blue vision,are they uk road legal. i don't want to be fannying about with ballast units,just want a straightt swap that's gonna be legal. cheers

    i want to retrim a set of cloth recaros i have in leather to match the rest of my car but i want to fit the heating elements from existing seats so ive got heated leather recaros.is this possible? cheers.

    every time i get in and out of my car it makes a god awful squeak especialy when parked on a hill,do u think the shocks are on the road out? cheers

    i know it's total nonsence,this country is run by total arseholes that just srew us for every penny we've got coz they can't manage our money correctly and to fund illegal wars etc!! you get more pollution from a f**king cow (methaine gas) thand a golf vr6. . . gggrrr!!
