    Sure the fuel pumps running while cranking, they have two circuits one to prime and the other to run, if its not wired up right, will prime and fire but then die, just a thought at least. I've had the immobaliser issue, seem to remember it doesn't spark.

    4bar for 2.9s, 3 or 3.5bar for 2.8s I think, doesn't have anything to do with ODB1 or ODB2.

    Hi again, just seen that TSR do a 6-branch for Mk2 VR Conversion, has anyone heard anything bad about these? Looks like I'll be able to buy a Golf Perf. Exhaust which will slide straight on?

    How about checking the CoilPack, I've heard they can develop cracks in the casing which can lead to similar problems? Just a thought!

    Hi, I know this has been covered loads before, but not quite found the answer I'm looking for... I've just done a VR conversion into Mk2 Golf and I'm not happy with the gear change which came from a Corrado. I know that the VW cable change is notorious for being sloppy, but was wondering if its livable when new and gets much worse with age. I've had a Golf VR6 before, but it was high millage, around 130/140 and I assumed thats why it was so sloppy. The corrado cable change I got was supposed to have been out of an 85k car and seems just as bad. So I'm wondering if anyones had experience of us

    Hi Just wondering what exhausts you guys use? Building 2.9 Mk2 VR6 at the moment, was thinking about stainless exhaust including 6 branch & cat replacement. What fits? Can I just buy a complete Corrado system? Or would a Mk3 Golf system fit better? Or would I need to buy a bit of Corrado and Mk2 Gti? What manufactures do you use? Cheers for the info!!
