    I purchased one of these yesterday just to see how good it is. Thought that for £25 i would take the chance. I will try and get it on the KWP at work and read the map and compare it to a standard one just to see what has been adjusted. Will let you know...

    I thought that as the US had lower octane fuel their chips had less ignition advance. Ask him how much maximum advance he gives and compare it to the likes of Stealth. If this chip has low advance your car will be slower. That was the problem with GIAC chips, they were not configured to UK fuel until recently.

    I have changed the bulbs and they still do not work. Any other ideas? I have checked all of the fuses too, and they are fine. Thanks

    I have looked in the search engine for previous posts but did not find anything, so i apologise if this has been asked a few times before. CDA kits are listed for the VR Golf but not Raddo. Called Eurostyling and they said that they do not list a kit. Do i just buy the Golf kit? Thanks

    Just out of interest, is the fuel pump slightly louder than normal? Mainly at idle as that is when it has maximum return. Sounds like the car may be running lean.

    Thanks guys, you have been more than helpful. I agree, a re-map is definately the way to go. There used to be a guy a few years back who was good on stock VW management called Geoff Everett, is he still around? Think he was the original founder of AMD. Otherwise Stealth it is. thanks again chaps!

    It's a funny thing asking advice on tuning. Have done it before on other forums and there is never one clear cut company that everyone can recommend. Why do these tuning companies make enemys with some cutomers with poor workmanship but do a great job with others. Dont understand why they cant put as much time and care in to every job, we all pay for it at the end of the day. Thanks for your advice so far guys!!

    Any idea what sort of gains can be expected? Does he re-map it or use someone elses software?

    I'm sure this has been asked many times but i cannot find a definative answer in the archives. Who offers the best chip/re-map for the 2.9 engine? Cost does not matter, just want the best. Thanks in advance for your help guys!
