    I had the same Toad alarm and had a boot solanoid working from it. A proper auto electrician should be able to wire up all the functions on the alarm for you such as, having your lights turn on at the push of one of the spare buttons. When mine was in for the fitting,the guy said that he has problems all the time fitting full closure alarms to gtis and vrs because of the pneumatic vw closure system. Mine turned out to be a problem with that system, not the alarm. I changed the control unit in the boot and it works fine now. Good luck, (@)

    I get back in september, then ripping the vr to bits and servicing to the max, as well as cleaning out those damn drains... again so she doesn´t leak over winter... again! So will be driving calmly around from october! So long to wait! (@)

    lol watched the England match last night, went out to watch it on the big fan fest screen and drink some beer in town, plenty of german Trinidad Tobago supporters there, not many England fans, only about 10 of us and most were Americans (bless´em they do try)! (@)
