did you even read the original thread. i didnt ask if any1 on here had 1. i asked if any1 new any1 who did. i have bin on other sites. i just thought that i would give you lot a chance to prove that you haven't got vw tunnel vision. silly really. just 1 person has replyed who would talk about another car without sayin somthing bad first. and he is the only 1 who doesn't sound like he's just repeat what he has over heard.
-
just the reaction i thought i would get. i wasn't asking for you're views, i was askin if you new anyone. but considering you lot wouldn't even talk to anyone who drove anything other than a vw this was prob a total waste of time.this was the only thing that put me off gettin a vr! the risk of bein labeled a wanker.and reading some of these post's i can see why we get such a bad rep! coz its true!!!!! the general feelin on this site is 'if it isn't a vw then it must be shit'.when asked what other cars you would drive, you lot never seem to venture further than audi! its sad.

hi all, lookin to get a turbo pretty soon and wounded if any1 here new of anybody who has a cav turbo and would like to swop or px for a pretty good 97 p 3dr golf vr6?

it has got a lot of talk steer, but the lsd means that it can go round a track faster than a lot of awd cars and with no understeer.

i value cars for a living, thats how im lucky enough to of driven every car a car nut would want to !amazed the power in the vr is put down in a very smooth way and it makes it a very easy car to drive, but the rs focus is totally different. if you take liberties in this car it could kill you. two days before i got my hands on the rs i was given a tvr tuscan. the rs is the car that scared me the most. the talk steer isn't like any other high powerd fwd car. the wheels don't spin, it just takes you where ever the wheels are pointin, and i drove it in the wet.
-
got my hands on a focus rs this morning. bin waitin to add this to my list of cars that iv bin given to give my 2 penuth on. f*cking evil, is all i can say. i made the mistake of booting it in 1st with 1 hand on the wheel. any1 else had a go of 1 of these? !amazed

if you have the money for an s4 or a 330i then go for 1 of them. i've driven all three and the r32 dosen't come close to any of the others. the r32 is alot like the vr6, in the way that all of its power is high up the rev range (good for mpg) but when you are in the others it doesn't matter what gear your in or what revs you are at, it will shift when you put your foot down. but sayin that the r32 will be alot cheaper to insure and mantain. which s4 is it? the 4.2 v8 or the earlyer twin turbo. i've only driven 1 of these and it did feel alot quicker than the 4.2, but the 4.2 sounds the bollock

i'd love an m3 myself. but i can barely aford to run my vr. and with a standerd service comin in at about

they did make saloons for the rs4 and rs6. we,ve just had an audi sale at work and we had about 4 rs4 2 saloons. and a couple of rs6 sallons and 1 estates. !amazed those rs6's are bril. the only prob with them is they always have autos. but they do pick up, i made the mistake of puttin my foot down in 4th gear, think it dropped to 2nd and then i sh*t myself !amazed !lol
