  1. Having blown a considerable amount of cash on this mod and not really achived much apart from owning an abundance of different size aero blade arms. I came to the conclusion that both drivers and passanger side wiper arms, off the lupo gti will fit. I have this mod fitted to my highline and do not seem to be suffering any major problems i think it's a nice looking alternative to the pair of drivers side arms. especially with passenger side arm have the curve half way along the arm so you have a greater sweep.   5. Well i have a slight problem........ The intake pipe that runs from the throttle housing to the air mass meter has a poxy little hose, that joins off the rocker cover to the intake pipe. It has split don't know how common this is Now working for vw i thought i would be able to sort this fairly easy........ not a chance ~ Comes to i have to order a whole new intake pipe at 102 quid %-6 ......... not good &| My question is have any of you guys and gals expirenced this and how did you solve the problem? I ordered a new pipe but when it came it had a dummy electical sensor. Does anyone know w

  7. All i have is a video of my trip and a wet lap but it\'s on a sony hi8 rather than a digital so i can\'t post on the net If you go in www.nurburgring.org theres loads of info. Defo going again, gonna get a digital for next time and a shit load more money, had to fill the fill the vr6 every two days....... (how small are the tanks on these things my old mk2 16valve had a bigger tank) so i can play a lot more this next time, it\'s addictive.   8. Three words Oh MY God!!!!!!!!! !amazed what a place, and the cars, those germans know a thing or two about building sweet fast golfs. I'm so going back next year. I was slightly amazed at how well the vr went round the ring gonna be a yearly jaunt for the vr6 me thinks, just a shame about the fuel bill lol. Though we don't buy them for the fuel economy he he anyone else been? !lol !lol !lol

  10. i swear you guys are driving different cars to me lol i cannot get near 20mpg around town and average around 28-32 and the motorway i drive it totaly different to the 16valve mk 2 i used to run. feather the throttle and never really run it past 3 grand i'm off to germany in mine in may but if i get around 250 mile to a tank i'll be happy

  13. hello chaps and chapesses i'm now the proud owner of a 96 vr6 higline awsome car not quite sure what took me so long to convert from my mk2 16valve but anyhow i've seen the light or rather heard my vr6 what a sound.......lol anyhow was out driving last night and for some unknown reason i seem to have aquired a slight misfire/hesitation from tickover to around 1500 revs to 2grand anyone sufferd from this and qured the problem i would be greatful for any advice many thanks karl p.s it's got a ported head and 270degree cams a bmc cda carbon air box and a stainless system if that makes any diff
