Hi Guys My Mark III VR6 has split a radiator hose near the bottom of the engine. It needs to be replaced. Are you able to identify the hose for me? Its a small hose, only about 10-15 cm in length. Its its bent into a "U" shape, and has a right angle bend on one side of the "U". It connects the engine block beneath the header to the lower part of the engine. I dont have the technical manual for my VR6. Is there a part number for this hose? And does anyone know some good VW parts suppliers in AUSTRALIA, preferrably Perth. Any help is greatly appreciated. Hi I think I may have done some damage to the controller for my Windows. I was trying to diagnose the fault in my rear electric window (which is stuck down), by running a current from the 12v cig lighter, into the rear switch connected to the electric window motor. Is it possible I have damaged the controller? because now, NONE of my windows work, OR my Mirrors, OR my reverse light!! Foolish? maybe %-6 . Annoying? DEFINATELY! ~ I hear that they are all on the same fuse, I have checked the fuse, and it is ok. Where is the controller located? Is it able to be replaced by myself? Has anyone ex

Hi All My drivers-side rear window is Stuck at the down position. Im having trouble diagnosing what is wrong. It wont make any whirrs or clicks when i press either the door up/down button or the console up/down button. Is there any way I can get the window up Manually?? Its a bit of security risk, having my window down all the time. I've got the door skin off this morning, and I cant see anything unusual. (pinched wires etc). Please help, Im unsure what to do next! Thanks Stu Its not the central thats causing it to close again. The key will turn, the pin will come up. All the other doors remain locked (ie, the central hasn't engaged). and when the key returns to the horizontal position, the lock will come down. Can the handle be taken off just by removing the 1 bolt on the inside of the door frame?

I have recently bought my VR6. It is in fantastic condition. Apart from the usual Electric Window problem alot of people seem to be having, it also has a strange problem with the drivers side door lock. When i turn the key to open the lock, the lock pin comes up, but as soon as the key turns back to be removed, the lock also comes down. I am unable to open the lock until, i unlock the passengers side door, which magically allows me to then unlock the drivers side! Has anyone had a similar experience? How was the problem fixed? Any advice would be appreciated Franky
