    Its actually a rare blue colour as seen on some Polo's. Theres a set on ebay but they have the gap between the red/smoked bit in a chrome finish which looks pish.

    Sold the highline last week but hoping to pick up a Mk3 gti this weekend. I was looking at possibly replacing the tinted rear lights with M3 smoked type of thing. Wheres best to get these and is there any I should aviod in terms of quality? Pics would be nice of them on a car.

    ZW1 & TT Comps are too common, as are any of the Audi replicas. The RC's are nice and timeless but nothing new. I know there have been a few cars going about with them but there are some nice Merc wheels that would look good. Brabus 3 spoke!!!

    I am selling my car to get something cheaper/easier on money but I was just wondering if I was asking the right price? Looking for around £3300 Car - 96 balck, 5dr Highline FSH, 57k miles with suspension/exhaust mods and in decent condition. 3mth T&T. Does that seem fair?

    My car suffers from pretty poor reception plus the aerial is knackered but does anybody know what OE VW aerials will fit the Mk3? I dont want a crappy aftermarket one. Ive heard the later Passat ones are quite good but I dont know if they will screw into the Mk3 base.

    Look in the boot, should have a sticker on the back end or it tells you in the manual however I think there was only one silver on the Mk3's.

    20mm & 30mm in total i.e. 10mm & 15mm either side?

    If your interested Ive got 8mm Eibach spacers and bolts that I was looking to sell shortly. The fit perfectly on the hub. Mattwelcer fitted similar sized spacers to the ones you mentioned with his Anni rims but had to get rid off when he lowered the car IIRC.

    Has anybody fitted the GTi alloys to thier VR? I am talking about the standard Mk3 10 spoke ones. Worried about them hitting the calipers.

    They are onlt slighty less effective but TBH I have never noticed it. Just wait till you do some enthusiastic driving and you'll be glad you used the FR. The pagids do preduce a shed load of dust mind you.

    Ah, sorry I thought you were meaning the RS's that all the Mk2/1 guys use. I know the ones and they should fit. Only thing to worry about is caliper clearance.

    I was living down in Kirriemuir but now in Aberdeen. I saw the car in Autotrader a few years ago but couldnt get insurance for less than a grand for the car.

    Ive used standard, pattern and FR and the FR Pagids are soo much better. Dont but cheap pads whatever you do. There are a lot of guys on clubgti that are slagging EBC by the way.

    Youll not get 15" RS with the 5x100 pcd. Only 17".
