  1. hi all just been looking at pics of my old syncro just wanted to know what become of her it was a 5 door mk3 vr6 syncro in dragonfly green with tt alloys

  3. right i think this is getting a bit confusing let me explain proper lol my car from the factory was a 2.9 abv then i s/c her vince did a mafless remap keeping my standard ecu then my engine went pop so i sold the s/c then found a cheap 2.8 aaa engine and fitted it keeping all the loom from my car and just used the block now i went to start her up with my (remaped ecu 2.9) she fired up but only for 1-2mins prob cos the ecu was overfueling so swaped to a 2.8 standard ecu not sure if its for a obd1 or 2 or it is cos my car has a coded key but she would try to fire up but nothing but a starter mo

  5. yeah but my ecu is from a 2.9 and the engine in the car now is a 2.8 surly it will not peform as good as it should do yo get what i mean

  7. no fella with my ecu what came with the car eg the remaped ecu it ran for about 1min - 2min then overfueled and the ecu thinks that the s/c is blowing loads of air in but its just n/a now and only a 2.8 not a 2.9 not much diff but want to no if there is a ecu i can get and it will just start up

  9. hiya i am in need of some help i have got a problem with my ecu well sort of my car did have a 2.9 abv and was remaped by vince mafless then sold the chrager and my engine went pop picked up a 2.8 obd1 so put that in but need a ecu to work with it which one also my car has a coded key please give us a ring or text on 07737718227 i am in manchester burnage if anyone fancy helping me out
  10. also i am going to change my slave clutch cylinder how do i change the fliud for that i no that the slave has a bleed nipple do i just loosen that and do i need a special tools

  12. hiya got myself 2 bottles of g12 plus and 5 ltrs of quantum synta 10w-40 in a silver bottle is that the right oil it just says synthetic i thought vr's were semi.also the rear diff is 0.7ltrs and the gearbox 2.4ltrs from what i gather but what type to get any help
  13. just its been sat for a while so wanna give it a really good service changing all the pads and discs also filters
  14. going to change oil, coolant, brake, clutch, gearbox, rear diff, power steering fliuds i want to no what how much each one takes and best place to get them thanks
  15. hi my ecu is mapped for a charger and i have got rid can i just get a standard ecu and plug it in will it work my car does have a immobiliser transponder and chip key.will it work
  16. hi i have got a engine stand off ebay but while trying to attach it to the black piece with 4 arms to where the gearbox holes are the bolts dont work well eg it goes through the black arm and into the engine but there is play in the black arm bit.i have been to a few hardware shops trying to get some fatter bolts but still use the gearbox holes.just want to no is there any special bolts that i need and what does eveyone else use
