cheers guys the fiesta was kept as basically the car owed me too much and the vr sale helped my cossie purchase... tbh i think you will also find my fiesta will out run a VR on a 1/4 mile but IMO thats not what its about the fiesta was modded in such a way to advance it like different beams, torque reducers etc etc etc most things you see were done for a reason not just for looks... altho i did love my golf it drank fuel as it needed a remap due to the mods it had and tbh my cossie and the fez is better on fuel than it was so there was no competition on what was to go... altho due to wanting

in the midst of selling my golf vr6 just over a year ago i forgot to post final pics up.... well i sold my VR6 highline to a lad fairly local who unfortunally removed the alloys and changed it IMO for the worse but apparently its still going strong so a few pics just before i sold her..... now things have moved on a touch my fiesta is back with about 230bhp recent mag feature and my cossie replaced the VR6 and will be back this weekend pumping 355bhp running AUTRONIC SM4 with lots of goodies.... pics:- hope this interests you all and thanks for the prev help with the VR6 altho i lo

yer i think it maybe the rack, altho after today i went to see a cossie, so i think i will be doing a few more mods to the VR6 some i already bought and a oil cooler, fly and 6 paddle and smooth the bumpers, then i think i may be selling the VR in the next 6 months, to buy a escort cossie. traitor i know but i miss turbo power and i want 4wd now tbh.... altho in truth i would miss the vr alot the cossie would give me more pleasure i think...

the bolts are all new the coilovers are new and top mounts and everything so i am thinking its either the arms, rack or something ??? :S

i know weitec do a adj one!!!! meant for mk4 but will fit mk3 i recon!!!???

i just bought new links and mine are fine.......

basically its like the front end is being blown about left to right like i dnt have full control of th car.... maybe the rack is loose??? need a new one?? anyone???

ok not sure where to post this up but......... the car feels fine sometimes and then when i get up to about 100 + the front end twitch's out like as if the racks fooked or something but fine in normal driving, altho there does seem to be a gap between when the wheel is straight and if i move it side to side its not as reactive as my RS used to be is this normal on VR's i shit myself doin 120 in this but in my RS i felt safer doin 130. i have roll bars and coilovers on so i am unsure whether maybe the arms or rack could be damaged or maybe this is normal

to be honest its not a game of wats better than the other we were just pointing out were lucky /rare to have OBD1 on a Nreg highline and then was taken out of preportion, this debate could go all day as like on rs turbo's whether dump valves actually help or not, at the end of the day your car is wat you make it.................

i have full carpet and the covers on mine so guess i must be lucky....

that it does sir i am lucky i suppose my vr6 is exactly on the change over so i must have one of the last vr6's with a OBD1 especially on a highline!!!!! !amazed and also nerih yes yours is 100% OBD1 Why is that lucky? if anything the obd2 is slightly better... also early highlines iirc didnt have quite the same level of trim as the later ones im lucky as its rare and explain to me why the OBD2 is better???? and my trim looks exactly the same as ay other highline...

exactly i have a rare as rocking horse shit vr6 highline!!!!

yer check mine out mine is a very late obd1 on a highline n reg!!! and runs a coilpack you can only tell by looking at the throttle body post a pic of it..
