  1. you know I'm there now I'm back here...
  2. It would seem not. dunno way though, had a ball last year.
  3. yes, get your name down here Rikki http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?234804.0
  4. If Mark is fully comp on the Beemer he should be able to drive any car 3rd party with the owners permission. That car doesn't have to be insured separately. I've seen it on TV where the rozzers impound a car for no insurance but have to release it when the bloke's mate turns up with such a certificate. Depends if you trust him 3rd party only ;-)
  5. Couldn't Mark drive her on his insurance?
  6. I've read some very bad press about techniclutch. Have a search around I think there's an entire forum / blog about them http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?147970.10#post_148232
  7. Sorry guys I'm out. :-( After bringing my departure to Nurburg forward by two days I'm both strapped for time and cash. ( 95Ron £1.30 a litre in Germany!!! )
  8. Bring your timing slips if you want to be considered for these trophies.
  9. A bit late but I thought I'd better get it done before going again ;-) http://www.vr6oc.com/events/Nurburgring/Easter2008/Easter%2008.pdf
  10. I'm sailing to Boulogne and I have the leave left so am now going to go on the Wednesday to ensure I can get a pitch at the campsite. see you there...
  11. I'm already booked up and will be out there 10th - 15th july so see you there :-p With the biggest expense getting there I might come early - that at the expected heave at the campsite! Or even the 9th if I can wrangle the holiday. How are you crossing the channel? N.
  12. well everything you need to now is on page 1! Basically, 11th - 15th July, ferry crossing ~£120, petrol ~£200, camping E12 a day - the German truck Grand Prix is on the same weekend so local hotels will all be booked up. But it does seem to have died a death, with only me going and even then I'm not taking the VR.
  13. After a week of 'Will I / Won't I' I've settled on I will. The price of petrol isn't going to magically drop and neither will the Euro. So it's now or never ( for this year ;-) ) My only concern is camping in a site full of rowdy German diesel heads. Might have to pre haggle a corner of a UK pitch on Northloop
  14. I've added myself to the list. I can always sleep during the day. Tony and Gav, I'll see you at Toddington Services
  15. This Sunday! http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?237454.post
  16. tell me about it! £55 for first plot' date=' and £50 each after, and rubbadubz are having a huge plot with it being our local show so its costing loads!! So to avoid anyone's disapointment and not displaying, We still have spaces on the Rubbadubz display so if there is anyone on here that wants to join us to show off your car and camp then either pm me or check out the forum, www.rubbadubz.co.uk for more details and get your name down asap. think they are charging a few quid for the privelidge though to recoup the huge cost involved, but will also be providing a bbq in that price on the sat
  17. No replys but lots of other threads.... http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?151632 http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?106705 http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?139346
  18. Hiya, Have a look down the air box side of the engine - if you've sill got the standard box you'll prob have to remove it to see clearly. A lot do weep oil from that end. My J plater was also weeping through the sump gasket itself until I had it replaced recently.
  19. or if you have a soft top! Arm restraints are needed if you have an open cockpit such as a caterham
  20. There is no sensor as such. It knows how far you've gone and how much petrol it's had to squirt into the engine and does some math(s). Have you accidentally switched it to mode 2 which is the measure since the dawn of time, or at least since it was reset by holding the switch in a 0 position for 3secs or so. Mode 1 is the trip setting.
