  1. And at only £66, why not? That's less than two full price tickets! And a fraction of the year card at Nordschleif land. Mmmmmmm, I wonder......
  2. we'll try to get an even number of peeps and enough 2for1 vouchers for all
  3. the two for one vouchers will get one kid in free with each paying adult adult so you're looking at £68 if you can get two vouchers, or else you can pre book a family ticket for £70 which means you won't have to queue on the day.
  4. Arr, the old playing up when warm habit. Two MK3 16vers and one VR6 I know of have recently been cured of similar problems by changing the ECU supply relay. It lives in relay position 3. 3rd in from the left on the second row up from the fuses. The number printed on the relay changes depending on ECU. A tenner or so new from VW but also worth popping the case off and having a look at the state of the contacts. IIRC, the coil from my 16ver is significantly smaller, so if it's the same size the odds are good. If it's still readable I'll get the VR6 Dizzy coil part number from mine later j
  5. Of course. How old are they? Under 4s go free
  6. VR6 Owners Club window sticker or tax disc holder.
  7. it's the draw of the four day opening and not needing to take vacation. Next year Easter is w/e 12th April.
  8. Not yet, Plasmon up in Melbourn. But I wouldn't be the first to jump ship to JM if I did.
  9. That was included in my Easter Info Download. :-|
  10. In answer to both points: there's always next Easter! My trip is mostly already paid for as I took out 12month breakdown and medical cover at Easter and have had the SpeedFerry flex tickets for over a year. Food and beer I'd have to buy at home. Which only leaves petrol, Luxembourg here I come, and 'Ring rickets. And to reduce costs there I'm planning on being a Pax Lap Whore (again ;-) ) Thesha: what colour VR am I looking out for?
  11. no worries, glad to be of help, it's what the clubs all about.
  12. leads, or coilpack, producing sparks, arcing, to the engine
  13. Well Donna can't make the 31st But I have found a suitable 2 for 1 offer on at the moment which makes it even cheaper than a group booking. Total petrol: Spend £30 on petrol before May 20th http://www.total.co.uk/UK/ukcorporate.nsf/VS_OPM/AE65C4E150C42077C1257411003D8F11?OpenDocument And Donna already has a couple of other vouchers.
  14. just remembered I'm out for some birthday lash that night.
  15. Ouch, when I posted the price I did have £180 in my head but couldn't believe that was right! I'm sure I came across some information when I was looking at mine. Try googling the Bosch part number. The same part is also in Saabs I think. I think it's as simple as a voltage across it opens the valve. The ECU varies the voltage to vary the opening. But I recall some complication like the ECU controlling the Earth rather than the live side! I can measure the internal resistances for you tonight as a preliminary check that something hasn't melted. TG P.s. If it has been disconnected with th
  16. £22.50. £25 is the standard online price.
  17. I can't find any 'may madness' type deals, so to get the best price we'll need to get organised and book as a group, min 10
  18. I'll get the centre console of Pete tomorrow then and you can have it soonest.
  19. not cmplaining about the niceness, but the promoting a cruiseherts / pax mower event ;-) you'll putting neons under the sixer next TG P.s. I'll go! ( for a laugh ) it's only 15mins from here P.p. s. not sure it counts as a major vr6oc event
  20. disconnect the battery for half an hour. To reteach it; turn off all the electrics, start her up and let it idle until the fans kick in. It will continue to learn for the next for starts.
  21. ISVs: not cheap > £100 I'd say. Easy job to fit. Have they reset the ECU since they cleaned your current ISV? I'd recommended it after changing / cleaning any control system so that the ECU can reteach itself.
