    From last years list, AndyL has 4, JimP has 2 and if the one in Cadders' car is mine, I also have 2. But with so many cars going we going to need some more as a group. Could noobs with any speak up. otherwise, Ebay is the place. Look for any without docking stations as the batteries can be easily removed and recharged with a standard AAA NiMH charger. Which I will have with me. Avoid binetone ones! But make sure you get 446MHz ones. TG

    Not forgetting the legal requirements: V5C MOT Insurance Docs GB badge or Euro plate Bulb Kit Warning Triangle First Aid Kit Fire Extinguisher Hi-Vis vest Some are not strictly absolute requirements for driving but breaking down on a motorway without them is illegal *-) European Breakdown cover ( not AA ) is recommended along with adequate travel insurance and a European Health Insurance Card as this will reduce/cover any medical excess. One PMR radio per car is also good as it keeps the convoy in touch with each other without mobile roaming charges. TG P.s. if camping, tent poles are a must

    I have come to the conclusion that the rollers in Cheshire where optimistic. At perfect touch a fortnight ago two standard golfs and a standard corrado where spot on book values and Jim Potter's was top at 189 so there is little chance of mine really being 201 :-( On the plus side the 16ver made 160 at Perfect Touch, which is 10 more than book.

    Will do, next week from my work PC. Don't worry Claire, an ex had the same ( reading between the lines ) scare a decade ago. The removal of the Pre-C cells was straight forward. Obviously she did have a bit of discomfort for a week or so, but AFAIK has had no further trouble. Her only problem was that her consultant looked like Reg Holdsworth from Corrie! TG

Or find the Hella number on any website that isn't Russian *-) I have some on my VR at home so can check over the weekend to see what #s they have on them.

    Hiya mate and welcome. 500 is a little low, 6-700 more usual. Is it a dizzy version, or coil pack? The coilpack is prone to cracking and letting in moisture / letting out electricity. TheGoth P.s. Where in herts are you? Someone might be willing to pop your new baby on a diagnosis tool for your peace of mind.

    After the GTi pulled 160bhp at Perfect Touch she is defo going to Germany again in preference to the VR. or volunteer to be a copilot for someone without speedferry tickets as I still do believe they aren't transferable, unless someone who has been in contact with SF knows better. *-)
