    I've updated the list, to make it 15vrs, on the speedferry, vrsick, and I assume the rest of the stag, are booked on P&O 'cos of a trailer. I handful of unconfirmed people will have to be on P&O as well if they come. Don't take the bike .... on the first time ... at a busy Easter ... when there could be snow!!

    Welcome mate, It'll be an entertaining choice. Expect a good 5-10 MPG less then the valver, and maybe down to half that of your *****! But you will be very impressed. I like my valver, 160BHP as of last W/E, but the 20or so extra horses and 25% increase in torque you get in a VR will take your breath away, And the noise :-D TG

    It will need an OBD1 ECU if it has an OBD1 TB so will be an OBD1 engine.

    I know speedferries ways! They did say the cheap ticket was not ammendable. I suspect they will effectively cancel the ticlet and charge and 'admin fee' the same as what ever the last ticket went for. I think you'll be lucky if they only make you pay the difference! TG

    Hi, when did you last check the level? Has your coolant vanished all of a sudden or over a period of time? The expansion bottle caps fail quite commonly, especially black ones. A new design, blue, one might help your problem, about £5 maybe. The mayo can indeed stem from short journeys.

    I know the one. As for rust it will depend on what sheared. My guess is that the heads will have popped of the bolts having rusted through. In which case the risk will be minimal IMO. Again if the bar snapped leaving each end intact I wouldn't worry either, If the bolts have come out altogether then it prob would be worth a little effort to protect the area, certainly try to replace them simply to block the holes, Or if the underseal is obviously gauged. And finally, neither of my MK3s have the bar any more, after the heads popped off during exhaust work so don't worry about that either. T
