  1. immobiliser for sure. There's a few threads around om how to check the 'widget sensor' by the ignition lock.
  2. Since the first meeting point on the way to the 'Ring last time :-(. Well actually it had been doing it about 6 months previously but had stopped. Above 4K revs it's fine. And after a while it will go away, until I turn the engine off. It's worse in the wet / damp. Hence why it has become more urgent. I've changed coil, dizzy cap & rotor arm, leads and plugs.
  3. Sorry Helen, I thought you where already on the list. I have been trying to keep on top of it.
  4. That's nearly everybody booked up and it's still only £66 return. I'm semi booked but there are still some notable exceptions ;-) That's going to be some convoy! 15VRs, 4 other cars and an AA truck
  5. Little blue books are so C20 Lee. What you need is an electronic profanisaurus such as http://www.viz.co.uk/profanisaurus/profan_index.php . Enjoy!
  6. Prob my age. Gash is my all time favourite phrase for a ladies front bottom. Closely followed by front bottom!
  7. Try disconnecting the plug from the yellow sensor in the thermostat housing. This contains the switch which controls the run on. If that stops it, you'll need a new sensor, if not my guess is it will be the fan control unit (under the header tank) which I think has to be replaced as one.
  8. It's moved from the Knowledge Vault Look in members area ( menu at top of forum ) / downloads / technical documents. I would give you a direct link but that would allow non premium members to find it ;-)
  9. I think on board it's all danish pastries - no truck drivers on board! A big strapping lad like you might need to book in early enough to eat land side.
  10. There's a guide to how to clean one - which includes how to remove/replace it - in the technical documents section of the premium members downloads.
  11. LMAO 'I reckon its gash' makes me smile more. I'll get my coat....
  12. Well it is a MCD! Shall we meet just before 10 so we can roll into the show together?
  13. Craig could you please bring your VAG-Com. The misfire/hesitation/lumpiness of my valver is really beginning to piss me off and my code reader gives it a clean bill of health. TG
  14. To adjust the horizontal and vertical headlight aim, turn the respective adjuster with a screwdriver through the slots above the headlight.
  15. German style UK plates, or UK plates with the DE symbol on, are frowned upon in Germany big time. And as cars need to 100% road legal to get on the 'Ring it's not worth the risk.

    CG LOCK

Oh yeah, I forgot to add it to the list of 'Ring orientated mods. Still loving mine, use it everyday!
  17. My pleasure Marco. Good man for wearing it on stage.
  18. ;-) Weather dependent obviously. Probably won't be sprinting but I do love camping at the Pod. And there's a pink MR2 due, which I just have to see!
