  1. That picture of me in the hoodie makes me look like a vampire! Hoodies & Fleeces (black only) £25 p&p TBD ( the fleeces in particular are very bulky ) Watch this space for online ordering via the club shoppe. TG
  2. That new pipe could be a decat. The Cat. usually lives right after the down pipe. Joined at the front with three bolts and at the back with a sleeve joint. Emissions are more strict after Aug 92 ( K plates ) For my last MOT the didn't even bother doing the test on my J plater :-) TG
  3. Don't forget to stock up on 'value' wooden spoons before you leave ;-)
  4. I've got ladies fit Polos in sizes 8-16 ( which I'm assured equates to 36-46 in 'proper' measures). Available in black, white or lilac. 1500 pennies, although I'd prefer notes!
  5. Hi, I'm expecting delivery of the new Polo shirts, fleeces and hoodies tomorrow so don't forget to bring those bulging wallets to Santa Pod so as to be the first to be seen in this years VR6OC collection. TG
  6. If you don't already have a crappy lappy and you only want to do simple things than try something like these: Simple Code Readers They will check fault codes and let you clear them. Probably does as much as the freeware VAG-COM software. And still works out cheaper than getting a stealer to plug vag-com in just once.
  7. The surest way to find out is to look around the throttle body, the differences are listed on here somewhere. Although technically the OBD level relates to the ECU. I have seen Highlines with square indicators! But late OBD1 did have the 16 pin port. Go figure! TG
  8. AFAIK, it is simply a plug issue. OBD1s are all assumed to have the twin two pin sockets. But as long as the plug fits the software should work. I have a small code reader which works on both, using a cable adapter. But why is the airbag light on? TG
  9. Don't know the answer mate, but I've moved your post to the right section at least :-)
  10. Whoa, that's a smash and a half. Where do these cock suckers learn to drive? TG P.s. Had to resize your carnage pics to keep the forum straight.
  11. 1) Point 1 is a must. You'll make no friends by causing the track to be closed. Although I'm not one to preach after dumping my entire cooling system under the gantry at a RWYB meet. 2) Lower than normal tyre pressures are advised but to what extent is open to question. So remember a pump/compressor to get them back up for the trip home. 3) Every little helps, including not having it brimming with petrol, extra weight! I'm sure you'll find some none sprinting members to keep a petrol can safe for you. The seats come out quite easily too ;-) 15" wheels are supposedly better for acceleration
  12. Doughnuts where the order of the day at this years off site camping :@ With no sign of the on site security stepping in to stamp out the trend. It only added to the mud problem and the family area was only segregated by three steel poles and a thin piece of blue string. Not very effective at stopping run away cars! Personally I had absolutely no problems with last years camp site. It all seemed better organized. TG
  13. mine fits between the front passenger head rest and the seat proper ;-)
  14. I got the money for my second night back almost immediately. I don't know how people who didn't turn up at all have got on with it. I'm not sure anyone will want to camp next year ;-)
  15. http://www.carpages.co.uk/volkswagen/volkswagen-golf-gti-w12-concept-11-06-07.asp Another link as provided by dstyrrell, albeit a bit out dated for all those who saw it in the flesh at GTi International, yum :-)
  16. Oh yeah, sorry meant to say there would be lenders available
  17. Regarding the RWYB: Because the track has no barriers and is edged with ( after all the recent rain ) soft grass, if you lose control rolling is a risk, so all cars are inspected for loose items before your are allowed to run and a helmet needs to be worn by all drivers. SO, IF YOU HAVE A HELMET BRING IT. TG
  18. Ssshh, I'm trying to live that down. So there'll be no falling over this time, well whilst in a sleeping bag at least. As for bright lights, I was thinking more of some quaint xmas lanterns this time.
  19. My money is on the coil pack. Look for cracks in the casing. Or else a split HT lead.
  20. And check the inside of the discs and the inner pads. You might have uneven wear.
  21. If I do come, I'll be late as a caravan is being delivered at 6. The sooner it is inhabitable, with TV and leccy hook up, the sooner the ex can move out of my house :@ and the sooner I can move back in
  22. Lots of drinking and chatting, including advice for new owners and almost definalty a VAG-COM or two. It's our first do so will be much more of a meet than a show, although we will have a few trophies to hand out. The main principle, for this first one at least, is to put faces to names and to make the club feel more phyisical rather than being a virtual internet thingy. We are hoping to lay on some form of entertainment . MkIVsUK are also there that weekend and I think have a band booked, but we are a) not that flushed with cash and not that organized. We will have BBQs for everyones use,
  23. Yep' date=' Don't think we are allowed a stand being an air cooled show.
  24. Yep, well it's not listed at the Santa Pod ticket shop. £15 IIRC.
