  1. If you multimap the adress and look at the aerial photo it's 100% residential. Have you tried using a different phone. It must be very bad business to ignore the phone just to avoid one customer. Me thinks another 'ULTIMATETUNE' is about to kick off. Did you pay by credit card Mark? TG
  2. We have a good few between us. Although Mark already has my spare, I expect Jim's will be in Craggsy's car before we get to Dover and Ingham with have one from Pete. So your best bet will be Andy. PM him this evening to make sure he remembers to pack his 4.
  3. Yep, still 5am at Thurrock.
  4. I've set my radios to channel 6, sub code 30. So they also remind me what time I need to be at the ferry for!
  5. It also indicates brake fluid level low and is connected to the front pad wear sensors, if applicabale.
  6. You wish. The next meet will be a 'wasn't it great' meet. The one after will be 'when are we going again' ;-) TG
  7. I'll try but living in Royston I'm rapidly running out of virgins!
  8. Just how little is going to get done at work this week? Shame the webcam has broken and has frozen on last Wednesday. But my pact with the Devil is working: http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/cgi-bin/city10day?LANG=en&WMO=10506&PROVIDER=anwendung&SID=105065c9d7f14fcb14a1d1d83381ca8497469&ID=8 This thread is now the fourth longest in the history of the club http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_stats.php :-)
  9. No organised trips, but it does feature quite prominently in their european driving guide ;-) http://www.saga.co.uk/finance/motor/europeandrivingguide.pdf
  10. 538, give or take half a millennia
  11. I know I shouldn't but PMSL! The lesson to be learnt: when it's wet, avoid the kerbs!
  12. Or from gsf, eurocarparts or gpc. Look under New OEM Parts in the VR6OC yellow pages
  13. up to 3miles, with the emphasis on up to
  14. PMSL, you're on good form tonight PHM.
  15. Was I having the spare one ? Oh, yeah. I'll will remember on Sunday!
  16. Only a week to go! I must be getting old or just too much like my Father but I do like lists and being prepared. So here's my list of stuff I'll be taking to Germany for everyones use/benefit: Digital tyre pressure gauge. Tyre tread depth gauge. Torch for inspecting brake pads ;-) ~5l of synta silver. Torque wrench. 12V impact driver. 12V air pump. 2 X PMR radios ( Cobra MT750s ) - one spare One hour AA/AAA NiMH in-car charger. 200W 12V/240V inverter 2 X Gizmondos with full European Sat Nav and working car cradles. - one spare And the ubiquitous camera and cam corder of course. I won't be go
  17. I got my last Synta Silver for £9 + VAT from GPC but that was a year ago. Went to get some more from German Swedish and French whilst at Viva Skeg Vegas and they claimed the price had rocketed and wanted £18 for 5l Going to see how much I can find it for at GTi Spring Fest. The other parts seem reasonable. I think I paid ~£22 + VAT for each of my front top mount kits. TG
  18. The book says it'll do it in a handfull of starts. For the first start after having the battery off for the required time you should just start the engine, with no equipment on, and let it warm up until the fans kick in. The learning continues for the next couple of starts/journeys. TG
  19. Google's stupid. You'd obviously swim straight to Ireland and not stop off in France! I'd only do step 40 if I had a diesal.
  20. I don't have anything against the store, in fact i do have a Halfords Pro torque wrench. It's just that the state of the cars parked outside my local branch always makes me want to cry.
  21. Get the wd40 in the lower bolts now, to give it time to do it's stuff. There is a picture guide, albeit for fitting coilovers, on here somewhere. Shouldn't be too different for shocks and springs.
