if you are lucky there might be one attached to your bonnet prop. All VRs had them new but many get lost or broken.

the left right selector cable will be loose almost certainly. have a look yourself. easy fix with a couple of spanners.

sounds like the electric ancillary water pump which will run for a while to help keep the head cool

chains have already been done thanks to Kilokilla. as the smoke hasn't got any worse in the 2 years it's been doing it we are fairly certain it's not the rings/bores main jobs are valves, hg, engine mounts , a new rad and replacing heater matrix.

obviously in need of some chocolate ;-) bet she drives a french shopping trolley that is only audible above 5K revs and under steers round corners at 10mph. so assumed you must have been racing the noise the VR makes and that you'd loose it on a corner. glad you had witnesses on your side

Sorry to hear that Pete. But it's not the Golf and insurers don't exclude the M6 Lol. the bonnet does seem to have been made from paper.

solely depends on the organisers. All the VW shows I've been to have been VW sprints only and stated as such in the show info. BMs have been turned away. Your best bet would be to go on a run what ya brung day ( www.rwyb.com ) when any make can go down the strip. Be aware that in a cabby you will need a helmet.
