well the forecast changed 3 times yesterday and is already on it's second carnation today so we still have plenty of time for a good one ;-)

I am, although unless the forecast improves it's likely to stop in the car. We are already due an original xbox, a wii and one of my playstations and only have two nights to play. So you will have to fight for screen time. Unless you've got any 360 games which feature the Nordschleife and a force feedback wheel ;-)

Cheers for letting us know Ben. If I pack my tent properly I'm sure I'll fit it in the car without having to cut back on the 'show' Pete: all I could find was times for people renting chalets / vans. The gate must be open late to allow people to return after days out in Northamptonshire. And it must be attended otherwise people would sneak in.

VDubGirl has arranged some very nice trophies for this years event. [photo tbd] For Best VR6 of the weekend and runner up Most Improved VR6 Best Original VR6 Fastest VR6 NA 1/4mile Fastest VR6 forced 1/4mile All cars will be automatically entered and all forum members who bring a VR6 are eligible to vote, as are premium members and moderators who turn up in anything. A format which worked well last year. Voting slips will be available from the club gazebo and should be completed and returned by Noon on Sunday. The trophies will be awarded after lunch.

FFS!!!! Tony, not a man to stand next to in a lightning storm, one let alone twice ;-) I'm happy with my 189.5 ( not that you'd tell ;-) ) All this extra power does seem to come at some cost.

Have to say many thanks to Brett. Well chuffed. #1 NA VR6 ( only out of three admittedly ) AND #1 16ver ( out of 2 ;-) ) But at 189.5 ( 143 @road ) & 154.5 ( 101@road ) respectively I'vr gotta be happy. And I am :-D

Those continentals have the right idea about requiring everyone to carry an extinguisher in their car.

could some kind person bring some lead removing long nosed pliers ( my cheap megacore leads don't work with the standard lead puller ) and spark plug socket and extension so I can fit my new iridium plugs. For a) that little bit extra power and actually get the car started! I've persuaded a mate to come and watch and maybe put his dirty derv BMW on the rollers.

just be careful of the thriplow speed bumps they are difficult to see and at the end of a nice ;-) straight when coming from the M11

if it does it on throttle I'd doubt it's the ISV as way more air would be coming through the TB proper. Does it only do it on cold starts, or warm as well? Any vag-com errors?
