well ive just been for a drive started it then it cut out straight away then started with a bit of gas seems to do it when it wants it feels like its got a flat spot when its doing it i would get the fault codes read but not for

seemed to be a bit less power untill i shut it off then started it again then seemed normal whats going on?

theres 1 under the cat or there was the cat had a split in it has been welded now no blow and no rattle now.

ive noticed it gone off about 5 times now so i hope its not a serious fault how do i get the front sensors out they seem really stuck in there. also my heat shield rattles do i really need it or is it best left where it is.

ive just phoned vw and spoke to someone about a diagnostics check or vag com check they said 85 + vat they reckon it could take up to 1 hour i know its not a long job the thing plugs in reads codes and u can print them off i reckon i could do it in 10 mins without never using the equiptment b4 so i think vw are assholes. anyone near maidenhead who has the kit to do it i would appreciate it thx or are the cables any good off ebay do they work some are only

right as i said ive taken out the rear ones but the front sensors seem bloody welded in there how do u get them out ffs

ive cleaned the rear abs sensors today from the history i found that the o/s front was replaced a while back im just wondering if i fix the prob the light will stay on unless cleared ?

thx everyone nice replys so just wondring what sort of cars can u keep up with a sc i know mine cant keep up with an m3 without 1 but would a sc vr6 get closer to an m3 or not just wondering. thx phil

the loudness of it i would say bottom but im not sure as i havent heard it with the bonnet open im sure its nothing to worry about or it would be doing it all the time. just wondering if anyone else has the same thing

yeah that id like to know aswell as mine are starting to get noisy vw compared to ford.

just wondering do all vr,s do it is it healthy for the engine i notice if i dab the throttle it burbles as the revs drop or when slowing down most noticeable in second i have everything standard apart from piper filter.? cheers phil

ive just bought a new battery it seems to turn over better than ever i think the battery was on its way out when i got the car we will see in a few days if it goes flat again.

any ideas about my flat battery i didnt leave any lights on alternator is charging at over 14v battery was tested at tyre an exhaust place and they say its ok so what could it be unless i left a side light on didnt notice when i got in the car though?

well it sounds like a loud slap or kncok noise but only lasts a few seconds but right now i cant even start it due to a flat battery.

about 1000 miles roughly like i said its not smoking. could be that i boot it 80% of the time. oh and now ive come home to find my battery is flat x)
