no i havent changed the plugs will do this weekend for some reason the oil keeps getting low but it doesent smoke, when you smell the exhaust there is no smell just hot air weird.

i was low on oil again i dont see where the oil is going it doesent smoke at all. im using castrol gtx at the mo but im going to get the proper stuff next.

it only lasts a few seconds and its 100% coming from the front of the car. any ideas?

please note i have new leads before suggesting new leads. sounds like solenoid also running on 4 or 5 untill warm i thought these cars were reliable the 8v was more reliable vr6 for sale ive had enough of it already. overated piece of crap ~ its only started running like this the past 2 days

180 mate one of the new ones. anyway u never know what pple have done to them. im not happy with the way mine goes anyway but im not paying out for it to go on the rollers they cost enough as it is maby someone near maidenhead with a standard vr aswell could compare to mine cheaper option.

i was going to check my abs sensors earler but the jack wouldent stay under the car properly, what a crappy design never mind.

im not slating all of u with chargers just the ones that had a pop and having that sc just for passing hmm passing at what speed i dont mind the jokes but the patronising is out of hand. as someone said earler id rather the acceleration than the top speed. it just seems that some pple on here seem to think that just because they didnt get caught doing that speed it somehow justifys it none of us can keep the led boots off all the time. anyway im not getting into an argument just having my say.

hmm vr,s seem lazy to me u gotta redline the fookers to get em moving i did have it in second low revs when it started but turbos produce the torque a lot quicker. never mind hopefully in a couple of years i will get a cossie much more fun.

i see a lot of pple slating and bleating on but noticed a few have sc vr6 u telling me u never done that speed,hmm maby its just for looks then, give him a break im sure he wont do it again.

reading through some of the history it has had relacement sensors b4 ive heard they get dirty what do they look like where r they. thx phil

problem solved new leads.

the leads look scorched or something black streaks down them maby they r worn but surely i would see a spark if they were dodgy

not done anything to it yet the cost of everyhting is silly i got a quote for new leads + plugs and lead removal tool from vw 190 + vat i think and at some point i want to get the chains done but the only quote ive got for that so far is 600 hmm more than i paid for my 8v anyone here got there chains done at a better price let me know also when ive saved enough im thinking of sc but i wouldent mind a test drive in 1 that has already got a sc sorry a bit of the main point but im tired and my mind is wandering a bit.

only does it under 2k rpm in the dry not so often but when its raining seems to do it a lot more when the engine is under load any ideas im thinking coil pack but i just looked under the hood didnt see any arching but did about 2 weeks ago only on 1 lead right next to the coil pack.

where though has anyone got a sound clip of there vr with the bmc kit fitted i wouldent mind hearing it.
