Had the RAC out with homestart and it is the fuel pump and not enough pressure so off to GSF tomorrow for a new pump and hopefully problem solved! Cheers for the reply.

Hi One and All I have a problem with my 95 VR6. It cut out the other day just as I turned into the drive as if I was running out of petrol even though I have a half full tank. It will start for 30 secs if I leave it for a couple of days, then cuts out. Any ideas what the problem could be? The stealership said check my immobiliser so I will be replacing the batteries in the fob later today. Cheers Paul

Hi Does anyone know of anywhere in the West Midlands, preferably near Solihull, that does this? Just had a new anti roll bar drop link and ball joint replaced and the car tracked, but the steering wheel is slightly off to the left when driving in a straight line which suggests everything needs re-aligning. Cheers

It seems slack, but may well be a pulley so I'll have to check that too. Any ideas which ones to look out for?

I changed my auxillary belt last year and already it's started squealing like a little pig. I've checked it and it feels a little slack. Is there a way of adjusting it? Cheers

Hi One and All My Bmc kit has just arrived and I'm a bit disappointed that the tube isn't that flexible as I was gonna run it from under the foglights through the plastic mesh but that don't seem possible. Any suggestions cos I've just joined the club membership but it don't register for a while and I'm itching to put this kit on straight away (sad I know but I'm really excited!)

Hi One and All A kinda stoopid question but does anyone elses VR6 get rather hot down by the handbrake and surround and if this is not normal any suggestions why?

it's done 98,000 with full service history but it due for a service now i guess. I paid 2 grand for it. The engine bay looks real clean so hopefully it'll just be needing some fresh coolant and a service. Thanks for the advice.

it has a residue of sorts in there which is a lighter brown colour and sits on top of the water. Having just bought it I don't really have the cash to spend and don't want to feel as if I have been ripped either.

Hello to one and all I've have recently purchased a VR6 and the car has been running fine. However recently it has been running lumpy at low revs as if a blockage of sorts, yet clears higher up and runs smooth. Also the header tank is showing the water to be a nasty brown colour and the water is extremely hot to touch. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hello to one and all Tomorrow I'm off to buy my first VR6 and wanted to know what the service intervals are and when the timing chains need to be replaced. The seller says at 130,000 miles and the car has done 96,000. Is this correct?
