Is it normal for a Lambda Probe to become de-attached from your Cat. I noticed the exhaust blowing last night, so I had a local garage put the car in the air, who pointed to something coming off of the Cat, which was about 8 - 10mm in diameter. It was blowing out air like no bodys buisness, they said they could only replace the Cat, have some one weld it up or put a bolt in there. (Okay Mr Cowboy Sir) I said, so here I am asking your advice. Am I right in saying this is where the Lambda Probe is housed, or is it some thing else. Yeah you can feel a trickle of air come through, on hot and cold. But!! the strangest of things happened this morning. Didnt work all week end, but decides to work this morning and blow quicker than it ever has!!! ughhh :|
