hi huys, i possibly have a blown head gasket, does anyone know the torque sequence for taking the bolts out and putting them back in with the relevant pressures on a golf vr6 highline 1997, cheers guys

hi all, looking for anyone who has some spare strips that run parrallell to the door from the drivers wheel arch to the back wheel arch (not sure what you call them), They are the ones that clip on, anyone have any to sell?.....thanks guys

hi guys, i got an aa man to look at it today, and he reckons i need a new gearbox, i am going to get a second opinion though, if i do need a new one, can anyone put me in the right direction to getting a reconditioned one and for how much?....thanks...

hey all, i managed to get myself home today after my gearbox just went on me, i couldnt get it into first or 2nd gear, each time i put it in first..it moved over into third...if i moved it into 2nd..it moved into fourth, the only gear i could get it into was 3rd, i had to keep starting off in third gear, do i need a new gearbox for sure?..how much am i looking at? to buy a reconditioned one and get it fitted?..can anyone point me in the right direction to getting one?..thankyou

hi guys, i spoke to you guys about a week ago about my vr6 not driving well (its pulling all over the place) and when i had to brake hard the other day, it was darting all over the road, i recently had the brake discs and shoes changed, and a full service done to the car when it began to exhibit these problems, so i took it for four wheel allignment, but its still driving the same, i have the schematic pictures of the before and after 4 wheel allignment that was done , is there anyone i could email the pictures to, that could give me some insight into whats needs to be done, thanks the first p -
hi all, wonder if anyone can help me, i got a service the othe day on my vr6 which was running on pre service. When i got it back when accelerating in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear the car was chugging along like it was going to cut out..but didnt. My mechanic told me all he did was change the sparks..cleaned the spark leads, wahsed the k&n air filers changed the oil etc. He never touched anything on the engine. He therefore went for a process of elimination, he put my old spark back in but the car is still chugging in the gears mentions above, and when i floor it in second to pick up speed i hear

i got a 1997 vr6 highline in purple, my seats though are cream, in speaking to another guy he said they should be purple, but the inside of my car is all colour coded cream, including the carpets, gear stick, upholestry on the roof and the door side panels, did any purple highlines come with cream interiors or are they always in purple? thanks

i recently bought a remus 2 exhaust, and its ace, doesnt sound like the novas you mentioned, and when you put your foot down..it makes a sweet noise..like a f1 car..

i have recently purchased a remus exhaust for my vr6 highline. I am now looking for an air filter to add to it, any suggestions? plus..what will be the maximum bhp i can get out of my new exhaust and air filter?...thanks
