  1. Thought that was something of an early call there Lee...
  2. http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?153370 I must've got the wrong link... try this one.
  3. A look at this thread may help you, as this all sounds terribly familiar to me... http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewforum.php?119
  4. I too used to run 17's and i felt the driveability just disappeared , i now have 16's on mine and all good imo. Don't know myself ref 18's but i'd be surprised if they went straight on especially with anything more than 205's without arch rolling etc.
  5. Yep is tight at the almost top, bad week and you can slide right down the table.
  6. ... Everyone saw what happened and I think I did really well to hold myself back. I really don't think he realises how strong I am. Otherwise he wouldn't approach me with headbutts and everything. [on Arsene Wenger] Martin Jol quote Nice picture Lee. :-p Thanks Come on you Spurs.
  7. Cool. I'm usually up for a game, occasionally play on partypoker.
  8. Nope the cylindrical one is still there. Mines still cat'ed, dunno if that makes a difference.
  9. I've got one on my 96 vr. Exhaust pipe that goes straight from the box after the cat to the back box? Looking at putting a suitcase resonator back on mine to be honest already bought it just not got round to fitting it. I get a droning noise [best way i can think to describe it] between 2k revs to just before 4k [ie motorway cruising revs]. Ok on short journeys but head doing on long journeys [though after 4k revs sounds awesome]. anyway... Got mine from a company in Germany with the back box i purchased from them, hadn't planned to use it but the bore of the backbox is larger so i had to. I
  10. Being limited to one transfer a week is a pain, wanted to make four this week just due to injuries and the Ronaldo factor [thing is if you get rid you just know you won't be able to afford him again]. Oh, and lots of dodgy keepers about this year...
  11. I'm in- gotta at least try and give you gooners a damn good hiding. Jol's zombie army.
  12. Agreed. Certainly made me feel somewhat inadequate! :$ Still' date=' at the same time it has made me all the more determined to get mine sorted and up to the high standards set by some of the other lads and lasses. Brilliant weekend and great to meet some more faces to put to the names. Thanks to all those who were involved in the organising and also nice one to everyone who turned up and made it what it was. [/quote'] Couldn't put it better myself so i thought why try? An all round excellent weekend, thank you one and all.
  13. Yes you would be getting ripped off! I paid £130.95 in January at a local Vw specialist and they charged me for 6 hours labour [said it would take a bit longer as first one they'd done!]. Hope you get it all sorted geezer at a decent price.
  14. A late call but i will be there in the morning [well lunchtime ish]. Hopefully i won't miss too much, though the sore heads in the morning of the campers should raise a few smiles.
  15. Little weather update... Dry but overcast. See you all there.
  16. Err... still looking for an alternative at the mo but struggling as everywhere is locked up due to people with caravans and no litter bins parking there for weeks at a time. Granary does do great puddings though...
  17. All the advice above sounds good to me but you do have to give it a bit of ummphh. I also used some washing up liquid as lubricant to make it easier [seem to remember something about oil based products damaging the maf?? i may be wrong??] Ref the noise... it just lets the engine breath easier and a bit more rarr noise wise, i too have the k&n panel filter which is all good so far for me.
  18. Gutted for you Mark. Mine is still loosing some water but doesn't seem to be getting any worst so i just keep an eye on it and my coolant levels. Good luck with it.
  19. Heres the address and postcode as above ^ ^ ^ . Granary Ham Lane Orton Meadows Peterborough Postcode: PE25UU Once you pull in the car park hang a left towards the pitch and putt course car park at the end. See you there.
  20. Sorry i didn't make this meet, had a few things i had to sort out and it took a tad longer than expected.
