There are schools of thought for and against both camps. Ic's work fine when you can get the flow of air over them where as a charge cooler gives consistant results when on a RR session. put the charge cooler in the airstream and you will achieve an even better result. Intake temps are consistantly lower witha charge cooler as against an intercooler its a matter of pure physics. The big power cars that you quote admittedly do run intercoolers, but thats not to say its the best or most efficient way to get a cooler intake temp and doesnt make it the one and only correct way to do it and make al

alternatively if your worried about bending or scratching the door and paintwork you can get some packing strip you know the thick stuff you find round papers when they are delivered, make sure its abouttwo and hallf feet long and fold it in half in the moddle so it crases it. Push this creased end through the gap at the end of the door nearest to the b pillar, making sure it goes in far enough to reach the pin. this is the clever bit you will see it doesnt bend to fit it so now just pull one of the two strips you have this causes it to pull intowards the door and lock , slide it in and out un

With the rear wiper,........ if the first time you use it2 you keep it pushed away for over 2 seconds ie use the washer then it will wipe a couple of times then park and not intermitant wipe so you dont have to keep pressing it to stop it. Try it you might like it !!

They are definatley 18's , 12.5 wide at the front and 15 at the back and it still has trouble getting the power down even with slicks and a viscous diff. Yummy aint they !! Anyone know what they are ?

ha ha yes i see what yo mean they are the transit nuts..... it has 18" bbs 3 piece rs splits which have one 76mm centre nut done up to 360+ lb/ft but the car always travels on wets and to aid strapping the car down we tigged some ally bars onto some old nuts and so it was easy to put the starps to the bars fore and aft as the car is so low (i can barely put my foot under it) Wait till i get back to the shop and tell the others they'll laugh at the reference.(in a nice way)

The model is remote control but i think it got broken. The noise is not like a vr on full chat ie singing but more like a well tuned 4cylinder bike when its blipped but twice as loud. on the track it sounds like its just put putting down the straight but when it being heartly chased by 911gt3's and spanking them it sort of doesnt correlate, the lack of screaming seems to make it appear slower but next to the porkers that are audibly going for and getting whipped it makes sense.... did any of that make sense ?

Here goes..... A man walks into a bar and asks the barman for 10 double whiskies. the bar man looks at him and says now what could be so bad you want those for, well , says the man . my youngest son has just announced that he is gay. he drinks the whiskies and leaves. Next day , same man, same bar, same barman, 15 double whiskies he says, so what is it be today the bar keep replies. well now my other son has declared he's a shirt lifter too, downs the whiskies and leaves. Next day, same man , same bar, same barman, Give me 20 double whiskies right this second please... the bar man looks at th

Its a long while since being here but i've been let lose to work on this car for a fella who lives near me. He races this thing and its the original deal. He is going to enter it into the gt90 series next year in a series of races here and in europe and i get to fix it if he brakes it. It makes 680 and weighs in at 1150 ish. This is the original Viper its the oldest chassis out there its number 3. 1 and 2 having died. Its an ex le mans racer from oreca and it scares the living bejesus out of me everytime it starts up and goes onto the track. It has an appetite for money that makes paris hilto

They've had a little bath on one occasion so it wouldnt surprise me if it was a gonna. It's a bloody mystery though.Next time i'm at me bros ill pinch his and see if it makes any differance. Do a side by side comparison so to speak. It would defo clear the issue up as it niggles me somewhat. Thanks for the info .

CHRIST ON A BIKE!.... I think I'll be doing mine sharpish then. I'm at 138k and its quiet too. The only rumble I get is from the belt tensioner.

If it's true and they are then let me know and I'll put a few f*cks into gsf and get a refund. Still after shorting the terms the pump and fan both spun up like they should but the pump didnt stay on any longer than the fans. I guess the huge relay on the nsf wing may have a fault but i'm poking in the dark here a bit.
-
Right I'll go check it out now and top the oil while im there as i'm sure it needs doing. Oh what happens if it doesnt then stay on ? sensor buggered ? Thanx for the reply Richy.

Right... so i got home from work early today and let the car cool down enough to work on. Swapped out the aux water pump and topped up with antifreeze. i let it get up to temp and the fan cut in once or twice and then whist still running switched the car off and the pump wasnt running when i put my hand to it. Surley it should be running for a bit. I reckon there must be a relay for it and its had it Ideas anyoone ? Or can anyone tell me for sure if theirs runs for definate when they stop. thanx in advance. G.

And if you look closley at the tacho you can see its clearly running so the light should be out . well spotted. picky but well spotted.
