  1. I'm jealous !! Very very nice job and the rims are mint too !!
  2. You could try Awesome for some Nuespeed ones, they were a little flexible on the price too. My buddy pauly got front and rear arb's for his 4motion from there, the instructions were crappy and in finnish or some other nordic obscure dialect but the fit was first time and the results were fantastic.
  3. I used some unipart ones , ive never had an issue with them before this car though. As it turns out the hubs buggered anyway and the bearing was spinning in it. So, its off to get a new hub. Grrrr , how annoying.
  4. I had similar probs with my multi and burning them at a slower rate helped improve things, as it turned out my burner was on the way out.Buying better media helps too. I hope this helps.
  5. A.M.D. seemed to think they could bore the tb out for you, or did i get the conversation confussed ?
  6. I bought the car october 2004 and i did all the brakes and suspension and exhaust and the cars been fine bar a few annoying little quirks the main one being it keep lunching wheel bearings. I've had two rear and two front and now the fns has gone again !! It's not a big hassle as I have press but it's an arse ache. It's getting to the point where I am going to start carrying spare hubs. I've had it tracked and four wheel aligned and it still does it. The rear bearings have a tendancy to run dry however i pack the bearing and the front ones just start grumbling then tick then graunch. Could it
  7. Equality ? Oh yeah I believe in equality all right, Like I believe in equal pay, & I also believe that women should be allowed to work the extra hours to get the same amount as we get paid. %-6 !amazed
  8. Well there I was, wondering to myself if I could justify the expence and hassle of sorcing some height adjustable headlights, and the corresponding light switch when a mate pops up in his Audi A3 with two broken headlights and asks me to change em over for these new ones he has. I swapped them over for him and he asks me to bin the headlights for him if I would. Soooo, as I'm walking to the bin and about to recycle the glass correctly and removing the bulbs to go in the drawer to be used when a blown bulb next occours, when I notice the height adjusters are electric ones and thought.... I'll ha

  11. Madge , Where did you find a picture of my now ex wife ?
  12. I had one where the disc didnt sit back cleanly on the hub and ran slightly out of true, absolutley drove me mental beyond belief. Squeek,Squeek,Squeek all the bloody time!! I replaced the hub and it's all good now.
  13. Right I was looking in this months practical performance cars and i found an advert for a company that supplied ceramic coating for ya tubular manifolds. www.racestuff.co.uk I think as its in peterborough i will be visiting soon.
  14. Where are you, i have both sets of connectors. Im near cambridge if its any help to you.
  15. kevhaywire, I knew the corrado fpr was a higer rated one and was considering it as my next move, The reason i was considering a higher rating was Ads at AMD suggested fitting(or modifying my fpr to suit) a higher fpr and see,he was quite insistant. I, like you said wont it run rich? and he said no.. the lambda sensor will back it off but youll gain all the same. Surely the pump is more than capable of producing more than 3 bar as on full tilt it wouldnt keep up if that was the case? A 16v mk2 pump is rated at 5.5 bar so is always an option as I've a new one spare.
  16. Right i've had a good look in autodata and it seems to suggest that the fuel pressure regulator on my highline will provide 3.5bar with the vacumm hose connected and 4.0 without. Does this mean if i disconnect the vaccumm pipe and plug it that my fpr will see a constant 4 bar ? I am aware of a cheap mod on it by 'dinging ' the sides or crimping it will raise the pressure but i dont want to cock it up and ruin the reg by this means if i can get another half bar of pressure by simply disconnecting it and plugging the hose. Any thoughts gents? (
  17. You mean the incredibly good looking fella with the 5 yr old that was calling everyone a northern monkey... Yes that was me !!

  22. At least you didnt pay for a dye to be put in yours and leak tested with the uv light and then regassed and new oil to find out it doesnt work when on 0. Solitary is the walk of shame.
  23. I am glad i found this post, I was having then eternal do I or dont I dilema,I spoke top ads at A.M.D. the other day and his suggestion for the fuel reg was to get a double hex socket that just fitted over the end of the reg' and choose the next size down and tap it over the and thus giving it an even 'crush'. I will be 'crushing' mine this evening when I get back from work. I am glad someone else has done this I thought he was pulling my leg a little.
  24. Have a peek on ebay ive seen vr maf sensors fairly well priced on there.
