Hi all, I have been looking at putting some braised brake pipes all round and was wondering if any of you any input on black diamonds offerings as opposed to the more expensive goodridge equivalents, are the black diamond ones as good or are they a case of tou get wot u pay for(sh@t).

howdee dubbers, i'm sorry to say the time has come for me to sell or swap my highline for something {dare i say the filthy word} diesel, its not economical for me to travel from the southside of glasgow to bellshill daily and its a shame to leave it sitting at home while i caj lifts to work,i've had it three yrs and i love it but has to go and preferably to a good home,its mullberry[ the best colour] 88k 17s,scorpion,all brand new front susp ie shocks,hubs,bearings,discs,top mounts bearings and bushes,so thats it pm for pics ythanx, if i've posted this on wrong section i apologise.

hi every one,can any one tell me if tt cabrio hubs or 52 plate a3 hubs will will go straight on to a highline with no issues? i've been gettin a rubbing,whining weird noise from down the front i changed the discs and pads and even the strut top mount bearings and bushes but the fekin noise is still there. i was told that it it sounds like something in the hubs is rubbing i dont know,the wheel bearings have no play in them theyre tight, ball joints are fine cv boots are fine all bushes are uncracked and theres no leaks of any type of fluids anywhere to indicate something might be drying up {oth

cheers cabrioman for replying mate my vw stealer is quoting over £100 they say only full dizzy can be bought and glasgows branch of G.Stupid.F***ers told me yeah no probs but they tried to palm me off with the wrong thing,do i have to replace the whole dizzy.

evening all you 6ers,i have two enquiries-:How many members live in and around glasgow (south). My other enquiry is if i posted pics of my highline interior or the sticker with spec codes could any 1 or all of you put me right, i'm trying to finish off my highline and dont know whether the a/c should be the digi one i've seen in some vr pics on ebay or should it be the manual heater control type,you see there was no dash in the car when i bought it so i'm guessing but want it to be right, i want to enjoy the car the way it should be then can start travelling to shows/meets. thanks for any and

hi all,i know this is our vr6 world but i dont know where else to go,i need a dizzy or hall sensor for my daily run around/winter car its a mare 2.0 gti 8v.i've tried all my usual local haunts my side of glasgow and dont want to go near vw dealer i'm getting desperate coz if i cant find this part asap i'm goin to have to drive(dont piss yourselves) a 1.0 ltr nissan micra pleeeeaaaasssseeee heeeeellllppp,thanks guys you are the knowledge behind veedubs. my highline is almost complete and dont want any part in driving a micraaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!

can anyone tell me what the 2inch rubber ring is thats bolted on to the handbrake mech on my caliper i've never seen it before and am curious, my car's a 97 highline.
