Mine as got to be the least powerful s/c vr on this forum but had s/c on 5yr,s been great only done the 1 r/r stealth 260bhp 229lbs torque mines supposed to have a z chip in it. but the car is so smooth right through rev range i wish they still made z s/c in the different stages, mine is also a zr1 and never had belt slippage, dont like the sound of the maf being off maybe they run better that way with the vortechs. i may go for a shrick for the torque and thats it but other wise my engine is stock it's nice to get in my vr and have no running issues. btw hope you get your motor sorted jay

iv'e always had a bit of oil in the samco pipe from s/c to filter but not s/c to maf a bit as gone in to my filter i thought this was the norm but it as not been enough which as worried me,the oil is not runny i clean it when i change s/c oil iv'e had s/c on 5yrs.

I only get to drive my vr weekends ,and it is a joy to drive the power is addictive thats why i'm doing more to the engine this year. I'm still waiting to have ago against my bros evo 8 i'll be ok if i dont race of the mark i think. Ive been in it they put the power down very easy must say handling is superb i'm not one for daft racing on roads with traffic but if safe and roads clear i dont mind opening the vr up the s/c noise is sweet.

Some work involved there, youv'ed done a really good job love the colour and the colour of your wheels go good against your paintwork. The car looked nice when you bought it,but i take my hat of to you i'd hate to see my car stripped like that. But you have done a cracking job though nice work. (h)

they do come with 18''wheels but you can opt for the 19'' ones my sister in law as on her's that is why they only went for the 19'' and there are quite a few in northampton area they drilled them offthrough the locking nut.it,s bad news i get worried if someone done this to our cars when you spend your hard earnd cash on your vr and they can just take it.

i seen a video of a 4 lads nicking a 19 '' wheel off a astra vxr in northampton that night they done quite a few vxr's with 19'' wheels some taking 2 or just the 1 wheel this one was caught on cctv at is own house alarm on vxr went off, outside security lights came on they just kept there hoods up done it in 40sec theiving tosses''

Nice meeting you craggsy,my m8 got me the right size clip picked it up yesterday,was lucky though when i replaced it the other clip just fell off, :S thankfully not on the way home. Hopefully see you at the pod if you are going. -
What a buzz indeed have'nt been on the strip since i raced my mk1 years ago.Reved my car on saturday a bit to much though best time 14.967 secs 0-60 6.36secs not bad need to get better for santa pod :-p Good to meet some of you ,shame could'nt meet everyone but it was a good day anyway. Nice pics by the way Jake.

lol,iv'e already got a charger just thinking about spending more money on my engine but dont want to waste money''i'm 260 at mo but want to get near the 300 mark just 40bhp more that should make a good difference.my engine is stock. or get the torque up i've got 229lbs. 8-) btw i run a zr1 which i dont really want to get rid of it spools up quick and very reliable i dont have belt slip or i'm a lucky one.
