ure going for it i just did not know what they where like on vr's i gasflowed the head on my mk1 16valve it made alot of difference but not sure on vr6. tsr do them but i think there expensive or is that the normal price.

has anybody had there head gasflowed or put on there vr a big valve head, does it make much difference i'de like to run it with standard cams. 8-|

nice shiny charger wish mine was like that. -
mines 260bhp 229lbs torque, but does go well, the vxr is quick been in that i was shocked how good they are standard i never felt no lag from the turbo but thats going in for the 300bhp conversion when it,s done 1000 miles i just wish i had more torque, there will be a good vid very soon either way so we will see.

I went to my bros house the other day. To see their new vxr and then he took me to see his new purchase which he is picking up next week a black Evo Vlll Do you think I would out run these in my charged vr. ciaran it is easy to remove once you get the retaining clip off the left hand side of the pedal i wedged a screw driver in to get it off. A nice bloke next door to my mums welded the plate back he said it's commom on alot of cars it was only spot welded on so he put loads of weld all the way round, the worst bit is getting to compress the little piston spring i used hands and a screw driver, the problem is there's not much room in the foot well to work :S my hands have nics and scraches all over, pedal stayed on from my brothers house 3miles away it drove normal i was a good 15 mile away in

got it all back together sunday pain in the arse trying to get the piston type spring back in place,only problem i knackerd the retention clip on the left hand side of the pedal what holds the pedal on, drove ok but had to order a new retention clip from vw not getting it until thursday.i der,nt use car the pedal will fall of,they said at vw on a whole they only have 25 retention clips in stock :@

you wasn,t doing a super fast gear change was u lol, i was going steady at the time then put clutch down coming to traffic lights to take it out of gear pedal just went down with a snapping noise, got pedal of now so i,ll try and get it welded back on tomorrow the bit of metal.typical when i,ve booked a weeks holiday.thanks for quick advise.

my clutch cable as come out of the pedal due to the little metal bit which sits on top of the pedal as broke away from the spot weld. Is this an easy fix. its a 97 vr6. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

ayup maiden-vr6, i,ve got bkr5ekup in my zr1 s/c and it runs great but i,ve heard also that ngk irredium are better so i,m trying them next time i change plugs.hope your car is running ok any figures yet..

i,ve been using optimax since it came out, my vr loves it and plus it,s just up the road from me, i did not notice anything when i first started using it but after a while i did and i think my car runs smoother, i panic now if they run out of optimax at my local station.

ayup mate i,ve got 2 freinds who work vw nottm, they have always told me to use, quantum silver which is [synta ] synthetic blend motor oil,10w-40 i,m looking at my 5ltr bottle now they said full synthetic may give me oil leaks,they use it in there modded vw,s by the way morning. -
