my rear wheel sensor has been replaced,light still comes on then goes out,got money back from service checked centre nut with split pin it was loose retitened ok for a while worn bearings can cause this ,vag-com still says rear sensor so could be pump to much money i,ll wait until on all the time hope you get yours sorted.

i have a ap22 what times everything i've done about 10 runs i've not yet got it below 6sec 0-60 but i've done 140mph in 1km , so the s/c picks up midrange. i think you can get one 4 about 100/120 pounds now. anybody who boast's about the performance of there car friends etc give them that to put in there car and you'll find that they dont want to know. well worth the money. c ya attila. p.s my speedo is out by about 4mph.ap22 tells your exact speed. -
i've removed plastic shroud all looks fine. i assume the 4or5 wires which go underneath the ign barrel are the ones your on about , which go into a seeled plastic switch underneath the barrel mine i cannot see any wires they are in a plastic type tubing. i'm leaving the shroud off for now so if it happens again i can see where it comes from. many thanks attila. p.s i think it,s time to get a fire extinguisher.

if turn ignition on and it smokes i have to turn ignition off, because it smells like smouldering wires. i then turn ignition on to start again and it is ok(there is no smoke) it comes from behind steering wheel where the shroud is. it comes out like a slow puff of smoke which is white in colour . thanks.

i;ve got a zr1 charger with i;ts own reservoir i change oil every 6,000 it runs ceramic bearings no toothed pulley,. mobile 1 does the job i,ve had on 3yrs now still sweet; not got belt slip i think ide no/ if packs up now got good price new 3yrs ago touch wood.still goes like stink.

on rare occations i have smoke which comes from behind stearing wheel when turn igniton on' if i turn off its fine . but my car misfires' also sometimes after i start it ; if i restart it flies again .please help put new plugs in yesterday ngk bkr5ekup plats do they make a diff. its got to do with starting its to inter mitnt.cheers.

i don;t no how long mine will last. had charger on 3yrs. still very smooth' run it on mobile 1 oil ;sounds the same as standard car until u open her up. i dont even here my engine ticking over i am running standard zorst u have all that power i would not get rid i was going to get away from vw,s what can u get for the money ...

i,m a long distance trucker but not your usual stereotype, i,ts the only time i will drive 430 bhp and 2,5oo pounds of torque give me a yorke and fat english breakfast no pays good but long hours try starting work 2.00 onwards.

e46 is the latest shape old one e36 both as quick as each other.maybe couple of car lenghths.

i had abs sensor fitted to my rear wheel 49.oo quid still light comes on sometimes then goes off whil driving.

i will only run on optimax it does make difference i,ve had charger on 3 yr;s no problems except this problem just had full service they found only abs sensor problem but nothing else aad sorry for late reply.

it seems to miss fire anytime really, hot or cold. Its not all the time, just now & again. The way I found to solve it .is to switch the ignition off and on and that seems to solve the missfire. as for the software i'm not sure to be honest. any help on this would be great.

to true when my vr is having a good running day not misfiring my car could have pulled past an e46 m3 in 2nd and 3rd i was a bit quicker he was 3 up i was at back end of him] truck in side lane i could have got past him in side lane a52 nottm not risking it when on back end at 140mph all in 1km.

i,ve a 97 vr6 highline z charger oe zorst stainless back box from vw. blue ignighters jr filter had a new mass air flow sensor fitted last year also a new none return valve fitted 8 months a go from vf eng.car runs ok sometimes then misfies the next ;turn engine off then restart drives ok this can happen hot and cold but when ok sometimes feels down on power still it makes a totaly different noise when running right. i also have smoke which comes from steering colume when i turn ignition on if i turn off and restart it/ it is ok any ideas only happens on rare occations cheched wires on colume

anybody know why my car holds back on power?somtimes my car missrires but when i restart the engine it's fine.i have a z eng charger on a 97 golf vr6.thanks aad new member.
