Just a quick one my leaking water pump will be replaced soon, as they will loosen the engine mounts to gain access. Would it be a good idea to uprate the front engine mount as I will be fitting supersprint exahust in the near future ? is there enough clearance to replace the engine mount?

thanks for the advice I'll just take it to the gargage and get a quote, If its a bit pricey I'll sort it myself, just like getting involved as my uncle use to fix my car in the past and I ain't use to garage bills.

Replaced my coolant housing last week and changed to the lower temp thermostat and found the car was running alot cooler and solved my coolant leak. (£75 for the lot incl new seals & bolts) I was on my way back from Skipton and was being challenged by a 911 didn't even think about racing him at first, then I thought his motor is going to be a 3.2 flat six and was 1981/82 so would be showing signs of old age, So into 3rd and blew him away and was supprised how quickly my car got to 140. Only problem was when I returned home and noticed the Water pump has started to leak & a split CV bo

I have the same problem on my corrado.VW told me they need to loosen the cables slightly and there is a template to re-adjust too, don't know the part number but I can find out. Back street gargage told me that somthing on the linkage has broke and needs replacing. I am skint at the mo so can't afford to take it in. Any ideas on home repair let us know.
