96N Reg with 101K Oil temp range from 80 - 110 Water @ 90 good to know we are running simliar temps

I ain't no expert but this is what happened to me on a corrado Like you left the car running looking for the leak no sign. Started to rev the engine and the leak was not visable untill it hit 4000 rpm and water started to spray out of the coolant hose from the heater matrix to the top of the head.

Cheers, just printed off transmission overhaul from the website and it shows Linkage Adjustment.

tried having a look @ it yesterday. Problem being you can't get to the linkage from inside the car. Looks like i've got to remove the cat to get on two bolts that are connected to a case covering the linkage and then I should be able to look @ the linkage from inside the car.

had probs with selecting Reverse 1st and 2nd gear. Started last week parked the car up try to select reverse and the car went forward. I them tried to select 1st gear would not work pushed the gear lever down as if I was selecting reverse and got 1st excatly the same with 2nd gear. Does this sound like the linakage??
