  1. no there from the us vr6,the car we don´t have over here i have one at home brand new,i did´nt use cause the mekanic said my block wasn´t flat enough.can´t find the number here by the comp so will go and have a look later.
  2. i got the vibratech front mount fitted yesterday,and no porbs sofare iam think about the gearboks mount some time in the future, but i know a mate with a mrk4 turbo that got the polymount just under the gearboks,and it soften aften a month ore so,but ithink it´s hte rear one that gives you the grif now,giv it a week ore 2 if it doesn´t help the change the rear back too oe.

  4. it does not matter if you have 210 or 200,as long as it pulls cleanly all the way too the redline.good did i say that i must be getting old he he.i have used over 5000 euro now,so i won´t use money one the car for a long period,other the maintens,iam dreaming of H&R coilover schrick manifold and hartmann exhaust,iam fitting my 312mm braks when the weather is better cause i did buy it in jan.
  5. well they should ware out pretty quick,i am bridstone S03 man my self work every,and the miles in these are amazing and i had -1.5 in camper one front,i am now looking at the yokos those sport ones,fore when i change next time. i whant grip i don´t care about the miles,and i hat noise from the tyres,and with the bridstone and the conti you don´t get that.
  6. the normal term is 5%,when increasing capaseti.so expekting it too give the same as a real 2.9,i found out that there is more to it the just 0.1liter more. i have found that they don´t have as much touque low down as the 2.8 cause of the cams(don´t if that true),but since yours is a obd2 right it should give something,but you newer relly know with these vr,i am also in the process of running in,dun it twice this years,cause vw supplyed the wrong rings got 2.8 insted of 2.9,ididn´t spare any expence i did it all the first time had some more km under the belt tho.but my luck isn´t god cause
  7. if you want performance you go with the sport contact i like em,the premium well i don´t like them,the grib is not that good compared to the others,but they are better fuel econemi.
  8. hi don´t think u are rude,i would at least have same tyres on the same aksel,you could get in troubel in the wet if you tend too drive hard (like me )but as long as u drive sensibul there should not be any probs. i didn´t know you had a future deal/discount with vince,i just know that in dk,you would pay for chipping all over again ,only one place in dk has a nice discount,the first chip in you car from the is around 350 n/a motor and 450 for a charged one,future chip is then pr. hour. i would have liked too see the print out because i wanted too see the touque curve.
  9. are you made driving with 2 diff tyres on one aksol,you brits are som what speciel,i sometimes don´t get you matth76 you have chains done chip the right after that you what to open the engine again for new(used)cams,plus with the cams if it´s going too be 120% you have to get it chipped again,you could have bought new ones and got the fitted for free,and saved time and money,you brits must have cheap labour cost,cos in dk that would newer have gone with out paying true the rufe(as i have just done for a rebuild,iven pay twice cause vw gave me the wrong piston rings and they would not acnogli

  12. could you post the plots,cause i thort that the 6 branch gave around 10bhp and the same in touqe,and you got minus 3bhp and plus 10lb/f around 14nm,or are the the plots from 2 diff. rollers???

  14. 270km/h in my last car audi s2 avant,260km/h when i had an audi s3 2002 model on german plates,245km/h i a frontwheel driven vr i had 5 years ago,only gotten 230km/h i my syncro so far,but when i go too meets in de this summer i hope to push it too 6300rpm,the 230 was 6000rpm. theys are only speedo km did not have a gps too back it up,but the s3 has a very accuret speedo.

The eip manifold is and oe intake thats modified,so spark plugs are no problem,withthe schrick u have too take the top part of the manifold off for changing,i bought my 2.9 syncro with the oettinger kit,its got oetinger regrind cams ported indtake and exhust manifold(you cant buy a 6 branch for the syncro)modded intake boks,chip.oettinger promisses 210bhp and 260nm(4000revs),the same kit for the 2.8 gives i think 200 and also 260nm(but at 4200 rpm). i havend found out what it cost but,i will find out some time in the future,also maybe getting it on the rollers this month.
  16. remap will always be better,then some program/boks thats coupled between oe ecu and engine. dastek and then works are only used by people that don´t how to remap the oe ecu,if you buy a complet system like efi and others that another story,and if you build a race engine(ore put a newer engine in a mark1 golf)the efi and others are the way too go.

    eat this read the hole text,i says its only frontwheel driven.too answer your qustion yes they have only made it for the us.
  20. there is 2 relays for the fuel pump,one after run and one for when its started,i bought a new after run and it helped in mine,but in the vr u have too turn the key to the first notch and wait a couple of seconds before you turn it to crank.
