i was led to belive mk4 rear calipers would fit on my mk3 but the banjo bolt fouls the tube of the rear beam! argh boo... anyone got any answers?

impact gon on shocks is dodgy.... ok for undoin but don't use for tightening u could snap the shafts. i've seen it done before..

you can buy a magnetic camber gauge for £35 http://www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=134038&MAN=Sealey-Magnetic-Camber-Gauge and you don't need to buy cam bolts as the golf has slotted holes on the shocks for camber adjustment.

what do u mean reset the handbrake? are these mk4 calipers a striaght swap if u use mk4 hoses an all?

i only put new pads on a couple of months ago

hi just replaced the cables on my golf and i have a few probs? 1, the cables seem to long and ive had to use a m8 nut on both cables, this was why i changed them, 2, there is a spring type affair on the drivers side caliper on the handbrake arm but not on the passenger? 3, is this whjy the the passenger side is binding and not returning! help MOT is this week

What year is your golf because if it is a j k or l, then it doesnt need one to pass an mot

don;t forget if optimax loses octane points just from age. because its and additive to raise the octane where as bp ultimate is refined and therefore doesn;t lose octane points. frequent oil changes makes diff on consumption.
