    The fuel filters new ,It have a K&N induction kit on with anew MAF sensor. I dont know about the fuel pressure at the rail and injectors. Also I forgot to mention if i put my foot down on the gas farely quick the engine doesn't die.

    Hello Engine is obd1 Problem I have is : Happens in every gear but an exaple is, In 3rd gear at 35 mph if i push the pedel alittle more the engine dies as tho the fuel pumps turned off.Push the pedel alittle more the car carrys on driving At the moment I have the throttle sensor unpluged.The car runs okish splutters when cold and revs are up and down when stopped but doesn't stall. Got a new throttle sensor and still got problem.Thought I'd ask you guys first as I dont want to go to VW. Thanks.

    hello rebuilt my 2.8 vr6 and now rebored to 2.9 still running on the 2.8 ecu and still running engine in. problem i have is when i push the accelerator pedal down about 10mm the engine has no power untill i push it alittle more and the powers back. is this just acase of a tune and remap or is it something else.

    I had the same prob ,was just the rubber seal on the thermostat housing also change the seal on the coolant pipe.

    i'm inneed of some help with these piston rings my engine code is abv 00 10 321 and am after piston rings. i'v messured the bore and pistons which are. piston 80.93mm bore 81.04mm. as vw dealer only sell oversized 82mm im not able to get any,and cant afford arebore and new pistons .Have looked on net but all seem to be 82mm. If i was to buy AAA piston rings would these fit the same as they are 81mm. also these are stapped on the piston: H0018n de R021 81v78.If its any help Its been 8months now and want to finaly get the car back on the road.

    anyone know what this is off or part number. This is off my mk2 vr6 but wanted to replace it.

    hello I've been having alot of touble with my vr6 and pretty much replaced everything ,alls left is the piston rings. could someone tell me if this engine code is the 2.9 ABV 00 10 321 . I got aset of pistons rings from VW dealer and only have 1 set which are oversized 82mm. the problem is I tryed one of the rings in the bore and it overlaps by 2mm. Went back to vw and say thay are the right rings. hopefully someone on here can help me out.

    hello would my mk2 golf magnex 8v/16v back box and straight through be ok to us on my mk2 vr6 golf i have a Twin 3inch DTM and Twin 3.5inch Round, the pipe inside thickness is 60mm thanks.

    Hello Got hold of a vr6 engine 2.8 AAA only problem is i need achassis code to beable to buy the parts from vw dealer. could someone help me out with acode. Also I have a cable type clutch but have no idea what its off and need to get hold of aclutch cable. one of the parts im after No.12 best regards steve.
