think im going to go looking for some engine mounts then lol

how does the flexi work on the down pipe as im very temped to order it .

it is a raceland 6 branch but the pic does not show a flexi in it . are the race land ones any good ?

I have been looking on e bay and found new stainless 6 branch for £180 delivered the thing that is worring me a little is the fact that the standard down pipe has a flexi and 6 branch does not . how do u over come this i was thinking about getting a cat bye pass and putting a flexi in it .

I would say u have been luck if u got away with that . The TESTER MUST cheak that all switches and warning lights that need to work him self . I if this is the case what else has he missed !! ! is ure car safe thats what i would be asking myself . maybe u do all ur own work but if u dont then how do u know ? it his job to pic up the little things as well as the big ones . I have ben testing for over 5 years and i do know how easy it is to miss things so u have to stay switched on as its not just a test it could be some ones life . (

This all sounds good im looking to charge my 1995 vento looks like there could be a group by again this year . i belive my car is obd1 what would i need change to get it up to obd2? Also as its done 100k ive located and bought another golf with 80 k with a heavy rear end but a peach engine and box. i was looking at doing a full engine rebuild as im a car tec . including forged rods and pistions and new cams so i can get some big hp . this is going to take some time to do as i know its going to be costly . any input into the best route to take would be ace because u boys seem to know alot about -
im not going to say a word because i might get on my high horse and no one wants that . lol one thing father christmas or christmas lights because offends them but thats ok for then to do stuff like that ? thats it or i will start how does that work ?

could be the motor/ control unit . easy way to tell is with ingntion on operate the switch if the intera light dims u know that the motor is drawing a current but not turning ie it wants changing . hope this helps

more than likely a abs sensor fault the front sensor carriers are aluminum and expand crushing the sensor as they rust . best bet is to get it onto a code reader i would say will atleast point u in the right direction. ps if it is a sensor u need to remove the old witch is harded than it sounds then clean up the suface in the hub i found a wire brush on a drill or a fine stone to work best {carefully with stone } u need to do this to get the sensor to fit correctly if it does not sit flush the air gap will be incorect causing incorect readings and bring the light on again . hope this is a litt

can i just warn all members that the mot has gone computerised and on the cheak list there is now a reminder to cheak the abs light operation as this IS PART OF THE TEST ! IT also list operation ie how long it takes to turn off for each type of model. Just letting u know as im a tester myself .

my vento is purple and i love it. The colour can make or brake a car for every one but thats down to there own tastes, what one person loves a nother can hate you only have to look at the max power boys with all the stupied body kits i think they are gash but they love them !lol
