Anyone know how much of a job it is to replace the heating elements in leather seats? Mine are due to be done under warenty by the supplying (non vw) garage who admit they've never done one before. Just wonder if it's a job for someone with a bit more experience or is it fairly straightforward? Thanks, Nick.

Had this on a previous Mk III golf. Mechanic said it was due to driver leaning on door when getting out of car. Fix was to lift the door until decent shut acheived. A simple fix which lasted 5 years!
