  1. Hi mate, had the same problem with my mk3 1.8 driver a couple of years ago. For me it turned out to be leaking from the top edge of the windscreen at the drivers side. From there it was running down the headliner to the driver A trim which "conveniently" channeled it down the trims to the carpet. My solution was to run a bead of clear silicone across the whole of the top edge of the windscreen, Worked a treat, hope this helps.
  2. I've got to agree with you Jon i didnt like Jazz blue when I first saw it and was undecided on whether i liked the shape of the mk4, but now i think its just an amazing colour and really suits the mk4. Not sure if you know of this club already but it might come in useful for info. http://uk-mkivs.net/ Happy driving, take care mate, Taz
  3. Hi mate, sorry to hear bout your loss, Glad your ok now though. As your breaking the car how much would you take for both front wings? Thanks, Taz
  4. Hi mate, When i asked the owner what work he had done to fit 9x16 at the front he did say they were pulled. At the time I also had my uncle with me who runs an independant volkswagen only garage and he commented saying the work was done to high standard as he also could not tell that the arches had been pulled. Thanks, Taz
  5. Yes thats the one thanks RichieVR. Thanks for all the replies guys, was searching the website for show pics but couldnt find any, I'll take another look. Once again thanks for all your help guys. Taz
  6. Hi guys, Hope everyone is doing well. I know i am not an active member of the forum but i always drop in, to have a read and see whats going on. I was just wondering if anyone out there can help me find a Mk3 golf VR6 highline that i recently saw at GTi international 2007. It was included in the show and shine and was a mulberry highline. It had 9x16 borbets T's all round and when i spoke to the owner said arch pulling and rolling cost him £600 in total. If anyone knows the owner or if the owner is a member of this forum I just have to say your car looks amazing and wonder could I trouble y
  7. Thanks for all your help guys, much appreciated. On the look out now for some 9 x 16's with an ET15. Thanks Taz
  8. Thanks for the reply guys, much appreciated. So am i right in thinking that the only mod i have to do is roll my arches. i was under the impression that I had to get my front arches pulled aswell. Once again thanks for all your help guys.
  9. Hi everyone not really posted up on this site much but I do visit quite often. Just got a quick question for anyone out there running nine inch wide wheels at the front, how does it drive and also what work is involved to allow fitment and how much it cost you. I've got a mk3 GTI 8 vavle, and would love to fit 9 inch wheels at the front (i'm bit of a dish whore, lol) but my friendly local wheels and tyres specialist is strongly urging me against it, saying it would cost too much and not handle well. Thanks for your time, Taz
  10. Looks really nice mate, can you put some day time shots up plz. Those rims suit the car so well. Taz
  11. Knowledgable bunch on here, Spindat-Dub hit the nail on the head as they say. Taz
  12. Hi new to the website, dont drive a VR (i wish) but i've got the Mk3 GTI. I've been told 9x16 at the front will be alot of work to fit. I've been advised to stick with 7.5 wide. I was just wondering what your opinion was and how much are you looking for the alloys? Thanks, Taz
